Welcome to Courageously Awake — the podcast for women who are ready to come back to their heart, their truth, and the woman they were always meant to be. Here, we talk about courage — not the loud kind, but the quiet bravery it takes to soften, to feel deeply, and to live awake. We explore healing, intuition, emotional alchemy, and what it really means to come home to yourself.

Episode 11: Conditioning Sounds Like You

Have you ever wondered... "Is this actually my voice...or is it fear? Expectations? Conditioning?" If you've ever found yourself second-guessing your decisions, people-pleasing, overthinking, or feeling disconnected from what you truly want, this episode is for you. The truth is, most women don't have a clarity problem. They have a self-trust problem. And often, it's because the voices of conditioning have become so familiar that they sound like our own. In this episode of Courageously Awake, we're exploring how to recognize the difference between your authentic voice, fear, and the beliefs you've inherited from family, culture, relationships, and the world around you. Together, we'll unpack: Why conditioning often sounds like your own inner voiceThe three voices that influence your decisions: conditioning, fear, and truthHow to recognize the subtle ways you've been overriding yourselfSimple practices to begin reconnecting with your authentic voiceWhy self-trust isn't something you find—it's something you rebuildMy hope is that by the end of this conversation, you'll stop asking, "What's wrong with me?" and begin asking a different question: "Whose voice have I been listening to?" Because your authentic voice has never left you. It may simply be waiting beneath years of expectations, fear, and conditioning. Take a deep breath, get curious, and let's begin hearing yourself again. Reflection QuestionWhat belief have you been carrying that no longer feels true for the woman you're becoming? I'd love to hear what comes up for you. Share your reflections with me on Instagram or send me a message—I always love hearing what's resonating with you. Episode 10: Sometimes the hardest thing to let go of isn’t failure. It’s the version of you that succeeded. with Eddie Wilson

Sometimes the hardest thing to let go of isn’t failure. It’s the version of you that succeeded. In this episode of Courageously Awake, I sit down with entrepreneur and Impact Others founder Eddie Wilson for an honest conversation about what happens when the life you’ve built—and the identity that came with it—no longer feels like the life you’re being called to live. After years of building businesses and achieving success, Eddie began to realize that what fulfilled him most wasn’t another accomplishment. It was connection, service, and the work he was doing with vulnerable children around the world through Impact Others. But following that calling required more than a career change. It required Eddie to begin letting go of an identity built around achievement, productivity, and business success—and to ask a much deeper question: Who am I when my value is no longer defined by what I produce? We talk about the relationships and partnerships that can shift when you begin changing, the role ego plays in keeping us attached to old versions of ourselves, and what it looks like to surrender control and trust where life is leading you next. Eddie also shares the deeply personal story of his brother Dakota and how that experience ultimately helped him understand his calling to become a voice for children who may not have one of their own. And perhaps one of my favorite parts of our conversation: Eddie’s perspective on purpose. What if you don’t need to manufacture your purpose or go searching for it? What if some of the clues have been woven throughout your story all along—including in the experiences that hurt the most? This conversation is about success, identity, faith, purpose, grief, letting go, and learning to look at our past through the possibility of redemption rather than resentment. If you’re in a season where the old version of your life—or the old version of you—doesn’t quite fit anymore, this conversation is for you.
