    71. What Happens When You Flight-Response, High-Achieve, and Resilient-to-a-Fault Your Way Into Burnout

I've been gone for a month and a half. And I'm back because I finally stopped running from the thing that was keeping me quiet. This episode is the full story of the year I had everything — the $100K, the dream wedding, the business class honeymoon — and sat in a bathtub in Florence looking down at my hands and didn't recognize them. The year I was grieving, performing my healing, running a business model that was draining me, and shaming myself for not being able to stretch past a nervous system that was already completely maxed out. I almost quit. I filled out a coffee shop application. I never turned it in. This is what burnout actually looks like when it happens to the woman who knows better. Who has the tools. Who IS the work. In this episode: What my flight response looked like dressed up as ambition, productivity, and resilience — and why I couldn't clock it in myselfThe honeymoon I couldn't feel, the bathtub in Florence that finally cracked me open, and what came through on the other side of that cryWhy performing my healing — the journaling, the meditating, the visualizing — was still avoidance in a girlboss costumeWhat shame did to my content, my sales, and my nervous system's capacity to receive what I was calling inThe one thing I kept doing through all of it that became the actual portal through — and why it had nothing to do with strategyIf this episode is your mirror: → Apply for Purpose Excavation — where you master the emotions that kept you loyal to survival, so your dreams finally feel like butter to your nervous system → Join the Courage Portal — tools and support for the woman actively doing this work

    70. "She Read It Out Loud for the First Time Ever" — Lexie on Shaking Hands, Survival Patterns, and the Book She Almost Didn't Write

Two years ago, Lexie almost cancelled this call. She sat in her car in the summer heat, shaking so hard she could barely hold her phone. Her co-workers had to take her to lunch first just to keep her from backing out. Today she's releasing a debut poetry collection this summer — and in this episode, she reads one of her poems out loud for the very first time. We talk about what two years of nervous system level identity work actually looks like from the inside — the shifts that sneak up on you, the survival patterns that quietly run your creative life, and what it finally felt like to stop keeping parts of herself in separate rooms. In this episode: The moment Lexie volunteered to speak publicly — twice — after years of being the one who'd rather disappear into the wallsWhat it meant to keep her faith in a separate compartment from every other part of her life, and what changed when she stoppedWhy she believes her writing isn't hers — and how that realization is what finally let her write the bookThe poem she wrote near the start of this work, about a time she didn't want to be alive — read out loud for the first time everWhat she'd say to anyone who's scared to make the first call (from someone who was shaking through hers)Links & resources: → Oder Prayer Before Art— Lexie's debut poetry collection, releasing July 10th on Amazon (link coming soon) → Follow Lexie on Instagram → Work with me 1:1 — for the woman ready to stop keeping parts of herself locked away → Join the Courage Portal — as Lexie put it, "it's 10pm, you're freaking out, you open the app and there's something in there that helps." 69. "I Googled My Own Symptoms Because I Thought Something Was Wrong With My Brain"

Nicole had done everything right. Spiritual work. Energy clearing. Limiting belief reprogramming. She had the vision, the coaching certification, and a clear picture of the stage she wanted to stand on. She was also googling her own symptoms a week before we started working together — convinced something was neurologically wrong with her brain. It wasn't her mindset. It was her nervous system treating her dreams like a threat. In this episode, she walks us through what that actually felt like in her body, the two childhood memories that were quietly running her business decisions decades later, and what shifted when we finally worked with her body instead of around it. Three months later — she's giving a keynote talk as an international speaker. That was the dream she had stopped believing in. In this episode: The five-year-old alarm story — a moment Nicole laughed off for years that was secretly dictating her relationship with productivity and worthWhat 15 racing thoughts at once actually feels like in the body (and why calling it "Type A" kept her stuck)How regulation — not more strategy — became the foundation that let her finally buildThe concussion at 18 that locked her in a dark room and wired "useless = danger" into her nervous systemWhat it feels like when your nervous system finally believes the dream is safe — in her words: "It now feels inevitable. I know I'm going to soar."Ready to do this work? → Work with me 1:1 — for the woman ready to get her brain and body on board with the vision she's been carrying. → Join Confidence Mastery— for the woman who's wobbly as a newborn deer on a skateboard when it comes to owning her value & gifts. → Join the Courage Container— for the woman who knows she desires more from herself & her life and wants the clarity, support, and growth to go all in. → Join the Courage Portal — tools & support that build the Courageous ASF infrastructure to sustain your brilliance, authenticity, and emotional mastery. → Connect with Nicole — find her on Instagram @wellnesswithnicole

    68. I Was Pulling the Rope. My Body Was Pulling Back Harder.

You've been fighting your body for years. Controlling the food. Pushing through the workouts. Managing the schedule. Holding everything together. And the harder you pull — the harder it pulls back. Amanda Rurik thought she was doing everything right. Mother. Business owner. Clean eating. Supplements. A type-A work ethic she wore like a badge. What she didn't know was that her body was quietly tallying every skipped meal, every sleepless night, every emotion she swallowed to keep moving. Then her second baby came. And the rope snapped. In this episode Amanda gets raw about the moment debilitating anxiety forced her to stop white-knuckling her health — and start actually listening to it. What she found wasn't weakness. It wasn't a disorder. It was a body that had been screaming in the only language it knew. We get into: The secret internal impacts anxiety has The moment two doctors told her she was "fine" and she knew they was more to her storyWhy trying to force symptoms away makes your body grip them harderThe at-home hair test that revealed what a decade of bloodwork missedWhat it looks like to stop fighting your body and finally start living in itThis is for the woman who has been pulling the rope her whole life and wondering why she's exhausted. 67. What If Your 'Disorder' Is Just Unprocessed Genius?

ADHD. OCD. GAD. Bipolar. Depression. The mental health industry took every complex, grief-filled, rage-inducing experience that happened to you—every moment your gifts got buried, every time love was taken from you, every time you were told you were too much—and they boiled it all down to a three-letter label. And now that label is your prison. Listen. I'm not here to deny or dismiss your pain. I'm here to tell you that you were erased from the equation. All that beautiful, complex trauma got diluted into a diagnosis that's now become your limitation. Your excuse for why you can't focus, why you sabotage, why you haven't started the thing yet. But what if your ADHD is actually a heightened ability to sense and predict what's coming next? What if your anxiety is buried rage trying to surface? What if every "disorder" is just unprocessed genius waiting to be excavated? In this episode, I get raw about: → Why I traced my throat-closing panic in front of the mic back to being yelled at for singing opera at 8 years old→ The difference between blaming what happened vs. owning how you're perpetuating the pattern→ Why ownership is the ONLY thing that creates change→ How every superhero had a tragic backstory (Spider-Man was already a superhero—the bite just made him face it)→ Real client transformations: the woman writing a book about her complex trauma, Isa releasing her song after years of fearing her potential, Sidney discovering her purpose as an herbalist after being told she wasn't intelligent enough I also get controversial as f**k about why I refuse to call them "disorders" and why the mental health bible (the DSM) profits from you staying exactly where you are. 66. Who TF Am I Beyond My Trauma?

Your trauma didn't just happen to you. It shaped you. Buried parts of you. Convinced you that staying small was safer than being seen. And now you're stuck in survival loops—same triggers, same reactions, same life you know you've outgrown. In this episode, Chelsea gets raw about the work no one talks about: using your pain as the raw material for your purpose. Not bypassing it. Not understanding it to death. Actually using it to excavate the woman you buried to survive. This isn't another "heal your inner child" fluff fest. This is about reconnecting with the little girl inside you who had dreams before the world taught her to be quiet. And asking yourself the most uncomfortable question: What will you regret if you don't do this work? You know your patterns but keep repeating them anyway You're tired of collecting explanations for why you're stuck You have dreams you've been too scared to pursue You're ready to stop performing "fine" and start living audaciously Why your pain isn't an obstacle—it's the portal to your purpose How trauma buried your authentic self (and how to excavate her) The one question that will either terrify you or set you free Why community matters when you're breaking survival loops "Your past explains your patterns. Your choices create your future. Which one are you using to run your life?" If this landed and you're tired of staying small, Chelsea's 1:1 container is open. You'll get a 90-minute Purpose Mapping Call where you'll excavate what's keeping you buried and map out what needs to shift. This isn't for women who want to understand themselves better. This is for women ready to become someone different. Interested? Click here: https://theemotionalarcheologist.hbportal.co/public/656aac9b606ce9039a2556bd

    65. Becoming Someone Else: When Survival Loops Turn You Into a Version of Yourself You Don't Know

Chelsea shares what happened when she turned nasty during a board game - and discovered the six-year-old who's been running her adult reactions. You're in a normal situation. Suddenly you become someone you don't recognize - defensive, mean, shut down. Your reaction doesn't match what's happening. That's an emotional flashback. The present is mirroring the past. Your body remembers what your mind forgot. Playing a game with her husband, losing, and suddenly feeling trapped. Chelsea got nasty. Couldn't explain why. Standing at the sink afterward, she asked: When did I first feel this way? Age 6. Wrestling with Dad. He pins her, won't move. She's calling for Mom. Pure panic. That moment never completed. Thirty years later, losing a board game activated the same panic: trapped, no way out, nobody's coming. After identifying the flashback, Chelsea told her husband: "I didn't know losing felt like being trapped." He said: "That makes sense. I understand." He hugged her. The survival loop closed. Different outcome. Her nervous system could finally complete what it started decades ago. Emotional flashbacks are portals. They show you exactly which moments are still running your life. Building awareness and tools outside stressful moments gives you choice inside them.
