    In this episode of the Gold & Blue Breakdown, Couz and Jonathan will look ahead to WVU football's upcoming contest against the Arizona Wildcats in week 9 of the college football season. This Big 12 football matchup features two teams on losing streaks and in desperate need of a win. The West Virginia Mountaineers will travel to Tucson, Arizona to take on the Wildcats in a game that will kickoff at 7:00pm Eastern time and will air on FS1. Both teams are expected to have key players out with injury. West Virginia starting quarterback Garrett Greene is questionable, along with running back Jahiem White and left tackle Wyatt Milum. Arizona will be without their starting left tackle and also their leading tackler in linebacker, Jacob Manu. Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita will look to star wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan to make big plays against a Mountaineer secondary that has struggled all season long. Meanwhile, WVU will look to utilize their great rushing attack with White (if he plays), along with CJ Donaldson. If Garrett Greene is unable to go, backup Nicco Marchiol will get the start. Marchiol is also a weapon on the ground, much like Greene. Which 3-4 team can get back to .500 in this one?     In this episode of the Gold & Blue Breakdown, after recapping WVU football’s loss to Iowa State, Couz and Jonathan will preview the Mountaineers’ upcoming game against the Kansas State Wildcats. They will give their three keys to victory for WVU, will take a look at key position battles and a key player to watch for Neal Brown’s West Virginia team.  Sophomore phenom Avery Johnson leads K-State into Morgantown, WV to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers this Saturday, October 19 in what will be a 7:30pm EDT kickoff on FOX. Johnson, who has thrown for over 1,100 yards and ran for over 300 in just six games, will look to his backfield mate D.J. Giddens to help lead the Wildcats to victory. Giddens has rushed for 786 yards so far on the season and is averaging 7.3 yards per carry. Brendan Mott, who leads the Big 12 with 6.5 sacks, will lead Coach Chris Klieman’s KSU defense into Morgantown. WVU will be led by senior quarterback Garrett Greene, who has similar stats to Johnson. Greene has thrown for over 1,200 yards and ran for nearly 400. Can Greene and running back tandem C.J. Donaldson and Jaheim White carry the Mountaineers to victory?     In this edition of the Gold & Blue Breakdown Show, the guys will preview WVU football's upcoming matchup against the Kansas Jayhawks. They will look at keys to the game, position battles to watch, and key players to watch for the Mountaineers. They will also recap WVU's loss to Pitt in Week 3. The Kansas Jayhawks come to Morgantown to face West Virginia in a battle between 1-2 teams on Saturday, September 21. It will kickoff at 12:00pm Eastern Time and air on ESPN2. Kansas comes in led by quarterback Jalon Daniels. The preseason hype around Daniels was strong for the second straight season, but he has struggled through the first three games by throwing six interceptions to only three touchdowns. Fortunately for Daniels, he has star running back Devin Neal as backfield mate. Neal is averaging over 100 yards per game so far this season. West Virginia quarterback Garrett Greene leads the Mountaineer offense into week four. However, the storyline has been the WVU defense, which is one of the worst in the country in pass defense. This has Defensive Coordinator Jordan Lesley and Head Coach Neal Brown both possibly on the hot seat. Will this be a get right game for Daniels against that Mountaineer secondary?
