I had no idea just how deep this story could go. I found this podcast very recently and only learned of this tragedy after the movie release. I was giddy with excitement when I saw this on my recommended list. The detailed research is admirable. At times, I would get confused as to who was whom. Especially toward the end, but that was likely due to my own focus issues. I just wish it felt like closure. I know it can’t, but I wish…

Ted was never car

Of the many different theories, the one that makes the most sense was that Ted was never in the car when it over the bridge. That, fearing getting caught, Ted got out of the car with the intention of meeting up with Mary Jo later. Mary Jo, intoxicated unfamiliar with the terrain, drove off the bridge. That also explains Ted’s waiting 10 hours to report the incident. Not a perfect explosion, but the one that makes the most sense.
