    James: What If Faith Has No Fruit? (July 19, 2026)

    Pastor Jennifer Holz concludes our summer sermon series, "What If?", this week. The question "What If?" invites our minds to open up and stretch out.     Jesus: What If Every Lost Thing Matters to God? (July 12, 2026)

What if God wants to help us get a new perspective this summer? Week 5:  Pray and discern to whom and how God may be calling you to connect people to Christ, as our church’s mission statement says. It could be inviting them to church, giving them a ride to church, sharing your God stories, or showing them love and kindness so they know they are valuable.Are you feeling discouraged or lost? Lost, not knowing if you are ready for the future, for the health diagnosis, or maybe not knowing how ready you are for adulthood, work life, the economy, for old age, death? Or are you discouraged because of loved ones who are far from the Lord? Here are Pastor Jennifer's questions for this week - 1. Look for the poppies blooming on your way home today. How did it feel to see them and remember that God loves you unconditionally? 2. When you feel empty, hopeless or alone, how do you tend to fill that space? Pay attention to when that happens this week—take a deep breath and pray the Lord’s Prayer. Ask God to give you His daily bread. 3. Read Numbers 6:22-27. What is it about this blessing from Moses that changes how we see ourselves? Remind yourself and each other that the Lord’s face lights up when He sees you. You are loved by God.
