    Comedian, actor, and American Ninja Warrior host Matt Iseman joins me this week on The HoneyDew to Highlight the Lowlights of leaving medicine for comedy, becoming a father at 55, and living with rheumatoid arthritis. Matt talks about growing up with a father who became a world-renowned expert on tuberculosis and following in his footsteps by going to medical school and training in internal medicine. He opens up about making the huge decision to walk away from medicine to pursue stand-up comedy and why he believes comedy comes from either “the hugs you got or the hugs you didn’t get.” We also talk about Matt becoming a first-time father at 55, what that experience has meant to him, and how his perspective on life has changed.
