Episode 47: Finding the Hero Inside You with Mark Collins

On this edition of Cracking the Code Ryan had on Mark Collins, founder of Freedom for Life. His passion for life mastery was born from a desire to have the life for which he believed he was created—one where fear, doubt, and imposter syndrome were no longer in the rearview mirror.   Over the course of the past 10 years, Mark has instructed, coached, and mentored over 500 people in their freedom journey and seen many students overcome major obstacles that have hindered them from living the life they wanted.    Throughout the episode, Mark and Ryan discuss how a negative mindset doesn’t go away once you have reached the top. Sometimes those thoughts can increase due to the fear of failure.  However, Mark discusses that it is important to remember to look at those moments like a report card. It is not permanent and with guidance and the right habits we can change the results.   He discusses how the habits you use to overcome the obstacles and negative thoughts within you have to continue even after reaching success. Otherwise, over time those thoughts can creep back in.   To learn more about Mark and the coaching services he offers you can check out the links below:  Website: http://freedom-for-life.net  Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FreedForLife/  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/_freedomforlife_/  YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCw1A7tteCrpLj_d9ejzDWRg  LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/mark-collins-freedom-for-life

Episode 46: Healing is always possible with Jo Weatherford

On this edition of Cracking the Code Ryan has a renowned TEDx speaker and recovery coach, Jo Weatherford. Jo has her master's degree in human development and spent 12 years teaching courses on addiction at the University of Nevada.  During the episode, Jo dove deep into her journey to recovery and the trials and tribulations of divorce. From a young age, Jo worked hard to be the perfect kid. Growing up in a household where the standard was “I love you as long as you’re smart, pretty, etc.” set a high standard. She worked hard to achieve that but at twelve years old, her life began to take a turn. After suffering from a breakup with her 19-year-old boyfriend she started down a dark path.   From the ages of 12 to 28, Jo used alcohol as a coping mechanism. It was the only coping mechanism that helped to silence the nothingness she felt. After becoming sober and now finally divorced she has taken back her power. Her friend taught her a valuable lesson. He said that he is not your source of wealth or your source of happiness.    Jo shared some insights into how she recovered. She touched on how resilience is important, but grit is what got her through. She now helps others on their journey to recovery and shows them that healing is always possible.   To learn more about Jo and the coaching services she offers check out the links below:  Ted Talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJY4GkpRc7U  Instagram is @jo.Weatherford   https://www.facebook.com/jo.harvey.547?mibextid=LQQJ4d  https://www.facebook.com/jo.harvey.547  https://recoveryremix.com/

Episode 45: A Star in the Sky with Alan Lazaros

On this episode of Cracking the Code Ryan has on Alan Lazaros, founder and CEO of Next Level University. Alan leads a global team at NLU and has given hundreds of trainings all over the world. He has happily completed thousands of one-on-one coaching calls with clients. Alan received a bachelor's degree from Worcester Polytech Institute in engineering. During this episode, Alan opened up and discussed the impact of losing his father in a car accident at the young age of two years. His stepfather was a part of his life from the age of three to 14 when he left the family behind. Due to these traumatic events that happened in his life he suffered from abandonment issues and tried so hard to fit in, to keep those close to him around.    At age 26, after getting into a nearly fatal car accident, Alan questioned everything he was doing in life. He questioned who he was and the choices he was making. He was at an all-time low. After the accident, Alan suffered from PTSD. Filled with regret, Alan searched for answers and found two of the brightest lights he had ever seen. The first bright light was a book by Bronnie Ware entitled, “The Top 5 Regrets of the Dying,” and the second was a Ted Talk by Tony Robbins. Both resources helped him find his way and guided him to make the choice of going to ALL IN on self-improvement to design a life of meaning and purpose.  On this self-improvement journey, he has learned to believe in a heart-driven but NO BS approach to inspiring, motivating, and educating others on what it REALLY takes to get to the Next Level. Today, Alan is proud to say it is his mission to help others design fulfilling lives, maximize their own unique potential, and build aligned businesses they love on their own terms. He has a powerful combination of technical expertise and business acumen specializing in Peak Performance, Productivity, Organizational Design, and Individual, Team, and Business Optimization.  To learn more about Alan and the coaching services he offers be sure to check out the links below:  www.facebook.com/alan.lazaros  www.instagram.com/alazaros88  https://www.linkedin.com/in/alanlazarosllc

Thank you to all the brave men and women who fight for our freedoms.  On this episode of Cracking the Code Ryan has on David Nordel founder and owner of Max Fab Consulting and Vet READY, Inc which provides keynote leadership, organizational growth, and strategic guidance. He is a retired United States Air Force Command Chief Master Sergeant with over 30 years of service; he holds a bachelor’s degree in registered nursing specializing in emergency medicine and a master’s degree in disaster and emergency management.   David discusses several topics during this episode, including living a life of service, his journey with PTSD, how you need to be the CEO of your own life and much more. With serving in the military being a big part of his life he finds that living a life of service is most fulfilling. Through sharing his journey with PTSD, he hopes to help transitioning veterans and other victims of trauma deal with the condition in a healthy manner.   David shared great advice with us, he said, to be the “CEO of your life”.
