Hearst Museum at UC Berkeley Brown Gallery, Doe Library (UC Berkeley) March 11 – August 31, 2026 This exhibition marks the first presentation dedicated to Etruscan culture at UC Berkeley, offering a unique opportunity to engage with one of the most significant and still partially understood civilizations of ancient Italy. Dr. Pieraccini reflects on the Etruscan world—its history, cultural identity, and enduring legacy—exploring key aspects of society, belief systems, and women's roles. The conversation also addresses the formation of the Berkeley collection and its broader historical context.
