Create and Consume

I can always count on an episode of “Create and Consume” to provide plenty of entertainment nin just the niche I’m seeking! Whether it’s a topical, seasonal insight, a behind-the-scenes of Austen’s many careers (hello print journalism in the 2010s!!!!) or just a retroactive on a pop culture moment that lives rent free in my brain. Austen always has a fun, fresh take and I love the variety Create and Consume provides from a podcast!

This is my go-to podcast when I want to catch up with a well-informed, fun, creative friend! I love getting surprised with the episode topics each week since Austen covers a broad range, and know I will consistently laugh and think more about the media I engage with due to the unique perspective she brings. Highly recommend this podcast if you like chats on pop culture, what to read and watch, and, of course, Taylor Swift (listen to episode 89!).

I absolutely adore Create & Consume! I love getting to hear about the different topics Austen covers each week. It truly feels like I am sitting down on FaceTime with a friend and catching up on all the things happening that week. I love how we get a look into what is inspiring her or impacting her with the media she consumes because it feels relatable! I love seeing my favorite creates being a consumer of content as much as they are creators. Austen does such a great job of pulling back the curtain and really allowing us to see how multi passionate people can create a strong, powerful brand and be an expert in their niche while also being themselves. Austen is so well rounded and it shows.

A lot of good ideas were teed up in this first episode. I’ll be looking forward to how they get explored in future episodes.
