S4E20 - Making Meditation Simple & Meaningful with Katie Krimitsos

You’ll never regret pausing for a moment of presence. Sometimes, in the swirl of life and all its constant motion, it’s the stillness that connects us back to ourselves—and to each other. This week, I had the joy of hosting Katie Krimitsos from the Women’s Meditation Network, whose story about following your intuition, embracing transformation, and cultivating meaningful connections. I’ve always been fascinated by the way we grow through what lights us up—and what challenges us. From the first awkward attempts at meditation (hello, falling asleep instantly 😅) to discovering the tiny sparks of progress and self-knowledge, it’s all part of a journey that keeps pulling me (and hopefully you) forward. What I love about conversations like this is their honesty: the messiness, the moments of doubt, the support we find in our communities and in those rare, magical moments we share with the people who just get us. As Katie Krimitsos reminds us, presence is a choice—one made in a million little ways, from the mini-meditations in your car to family dinners filled with laughter, chaos, and the warmth of being together. If you’re feeling a little lost, if you’re searching for grounding, or if you just need to hear that you’re not alone in finding your own path—this episode is for you. I invite you to share with episode with someone who inspires you to pause and be present. 💛 And thank you, truly, for being part of this evolving circle. Every download, every message, every story shared adds a thread to this growing web of connection. ✨ What’s ONE way you’re creating connection in your life today? Drop it in the comments—I’d love to hear! PS—If you’re new here, join the journey by subscribing. And if you haven’t found the Women’s Meditation Network yet, what are you waiting for? S4E19 - Find Your Marketing Style with Kristi Mitchell

If you happen to be someone who thinks “marketing is complicated,” stick around for today's episode! I had the privilege of sitting down with Kristi Mitchell, a strategist whose brilliance lies in untangling the chaos of business growth and making it feel not just doable—but enjoyable. What struck me most in this conversation was how Kristi views each business like a person—with strengths, dreams, and odd quirks that make it utterly unique. The world (and the online space) is loud about all the things you "should" do to succeed. But Kristi reminds us the best game plan is one that feels genuine, meaningful, and simple—and that’s how you win customers’ hearts (and your own time/freedom) back. What we covered: The winding road from psychology major to marketing maven—and how saying yes to curiosity led Kristi here Why you don’t have to be a specialist to make a powerful impact in business The most common mistakes small businesses make with marketing (and how to sidestep overwhelm and inaction) How to get visible—and just as importantly, nurture the right connections over time The magic of a “marketing dream team” and the joy of helping others shine Real talk: why AI alone isn’t the answer, but how it can amplify your voice when used intentionally We are shaped by the people and paths we choose—and today’s conversation is that friendly nudge to see your own journey (and your own marketing) with a fresh, forgiving perspective. If you’ve ever doubted your path, or wondered how to make marketing feel more you (and less like a to-do list you dread), listen in. 💙 You don’t need to master everything to start. Sometimes, all you need is a spark, a nudge, and a guide who “gets it.” Let’s keep building these connections, one conversation at a time. 🌟 Subscribe for weekly episodes that will light up your feed! S4E18 - What's Actually Working on LinkedIn with Daniel Alfon

Sometimes, the places we choose to connect mean everything. I’ve been thinking deeply about how much the digital landscape has shifted, how the platforms we once knew—Meta, Instagram—have changed, and how more of us are drawn toward LinkedIn, seeking a different kind of connection. What I love about meeting new people is discovering those hidden sparks—their ambitions, vulnerability, creativity, and resilience. Entrepreneurship, for me, has always been about those moments: the connections that change us, the strangers who become mentors, the quiet collaborations that end up moving mountains. We’re more than our profiles, more than our resumes. We’re relationships in motion, constantly shaped by the people we come across. And that’s what today’s episode of Creating Connections is all about. I’m joined by Daniel Alfon, a true expert in making LinkedIn work for YOU—whether you’re a mompreneur juggling a dozen balls or someone just starting to grow your tribe. Daniel’s wisdom is practical and actionable. He reminds us that our personality should shine—no more faking it for the algorithm, no more hiding behind posts that don’t feel true. LinkedIn can be anything you need it to be: a place to quietly grow, a stage for your ideas, or a bridge to communities you never imagined you’d reach. Our conversation dives into: How to grow your network, even if you’re an introvert Why you don’t need to pay to create meaningful impact (unless you really need more than 10% of what LinkedIn offers) Ways to genuinely connect, find your people, and feature your work without overwhelm The power of clarity: Does your presence online guide people to where you want them to go? And the courage it takes to ask for real feedback, to keep growing If you’re seeking a way to make authentic connections that support your business, your creativity, and your whole self, let this be your invitation to try something new. Step into your story, make it visible, and don’t be afraid to shine. Thank you to everyone who’s been a part of my journey so far; you’ve inspired me to keep showing up and keep connecting. 💙 (P.S. If you want to optimize your own LinkedIn presence or discover more about Daniel’s approach, make sure to listen through—I promise you'll walk away ready to take action!) S4E17 - Growth Through Discipline with Drewbie Wilson

What if just one conversation changed the way you saw yourself—and what you're truly capable of? On this week’s episode of Creating Connections, we sit down with the magnetic Drewbie Wilson, aka the Meme Lord, who proves again and again that life’s greatest wins are found at the intersection of vulnerability, grit, and genuine self-discovery. Listening to him open up about his journey—from being 300+ pounds and feeling stuck to building a business, a family, a life that truly lights him up—I'm reminded how connected we all are by the little choices we make in private, the dark moments we've carried, and the transformations that bloom when we finally listen to that voice nudging us toward more. It’s all woven together: The laughter, the self-doubt, the discipline, and the courage it takes to value ourselves enough to show up every day for our families, our clients, and most of all for ourselves. The stories that shape us don’t belong to us alone—they ripple into every interaction, every business call, every conversation with the ones we love. I am beyond grateful for conversations like this, for people like Drewbie Wilson who are willing to get real about what it takes to get out of your own way, call the damn leads, WRITE the damn book, and keep coming back to the truth: if you can create yourself, you can create connections that last. If you’ve ever wanted to be more intentional with your time, if you’re craving practical wisdom and a nudge toward tackling your own “damn leads”—whatever they are—this episode is for you. You don’t have to do it alone. Let’s grow, connect, and build something remarkable together. 💙 If this conversation moved you, share it, tag us, or drop your favorite takeaway in the comments. S4E16 - Doing Life the Way You Wanna with Stephan Bajaio

There’s a kind of magic in the connections we create—the unexpected conversations, the shared laughter that lingers, the wisdom exchanged in those in-between moments. Sometimes, all it takes is a single genuine exchange to shift our perspective and deepen our understanding of ourselves, our work, and each other. Reflecting on today’s episode with Stephan Bajaio, I’m reminded that we never journey alone. Every story, every struggle, every breakthrough—these experiences are intertwined through the people we meet and the energy we choose to welcome into our lives. Entrepreneurship isn’t a straight line. It’s messy and beautiful and sometimes unpredictable. The freedom to find your own structure, to tape together something that looks like balance, to parent and create and lead all at once—those moments matter. The best lessons aren’t in the manuals or even in the data (though we talk about that too!); they’re in the wisdom passed on through honest conversation. I am endlessly grateful for these opportunities to show up, to listen, to question what’s always been done, and to encourage growth—both in business and in life. If you’re here, reading this or tuning in, you’re part of this ongoing conversation. You help me shine brighter, step forward more boldly, and remember that meaningful connection outlasts every algorithm or easy button. 🌟 Let me know how one moment, one relationship, or one lesson has changed your perspective. S4E15 - Rewriting Your Path with Loren Silverman

“Small repeatable movements beat heroic bursts every time.” This simple quote from Loren Silverman during today’s episode repeats in my mind as I sit here reflecting on the journeys we all take—sometimes structured, sometimes uncertain, sometimes heavy with hustle, but always, always colored by the people and moments that stay with us. I’m endlessly fascinated by the ways people carve out their own paths—their approaches to work and rest, the unique quirks that guide their success, the values that shape their days. That spark, when someone finally connects with what matters most to them, is why I love these conversations so much. Today’s guest, Loren Silverman, has worn so many hats: from theater lighting in New York to tech executive to life coach. His story is a testament to embracing disruption, aligning your work with your values, and choosing courage over comfort—even (especially!) when it means letting go of something you’ve known for decades. The tools and frameworks he shares (like his "Values to Voice" method) are practical, honest, and born from real-life pivots and purpose. Maybe you’re here because you’re feeling scattered in your business, burnt out in your career, or simply lost in a sea of endless options. Maybe you just want to show up for yourself in a different way—even if there’s no grand plan yet, just a voice inside nudging you forward. If you’ve been part of my journey—or if today is the first time our paths have crossed—thank you for being here. You shape this conversation more than you know. Ready to find your next small step? S4E14 - From "Victim" to Vitality with Chanoa Inez

“We grow through the stories we carry, the hearts we touch, and the journeys that invite us to see life a little differently. Sometimes, when we least expect it, the hardest moments become the lanterns that guide us to our deepest healing and our greatest connections. This week, I sat down with Chanoa Inez—author, personal branding advisor, and a woman who has courageously transformed unimaginable loss into luminous purpose. Her story in this episode of Creating Connections is both a mirror and a map: it reminds us how important it is to feel our pain, but also how powerful it is to let go, rewrite our inner narrative, and decide, wholly and freely, how we want to show up in our lives and in our work. I’m endlessly inspired by the people I meet through this journey—how they move through heartache, how they discover awe on the other side, and how their willingness to be real becomes the most magnetic thing about them. There’s something about hearing someone voice what you’ve felt but never said out loud. Maybe it’s healing. Maybe it’s connection. Maybe it’s both. As you listen, pause for a moment and notice: where have you shrunk back from dreaming bigger? What story do you default to when you meet someone new? How can you love yourself more fiercely, forgive more freely, and move from victim to author of your own life? Every conversation, every lesson, every misstep and triumph—these are the things that deepen our capacity for empathy, resilience, and authenticity. If you’ve been a part of my journey—if you’ve listened, shared, or sent a note of encouragement—thank you. You’re a part of what makes all of this beautifully worthwhile. 🌙 If today’s episode speaks to you, share it with a friend who needs to hear that freedom and joy are still possible on the other side of loss. S4E13 - Rediscovering Yourself with Catherine Crestani

Sometimes all it takes is a single question to spark a profound transformation: What brings you joy—what lights you up enough to make you want to get out of bed in the morning? I felt this as I was reflecting on this conversation with Catherine Crestani. It reminded me how crucial it is—especially in our endlessly busy lives—to gift ourselves a few sacred moments each day, just for us. Not for business, not for family, not to check another box. For us. Meeting people like atherine, hearing stories of growth, resilience, and rediscovery, always reminds me that we are constantly evolving. We lose ourselves sometimes—in relationships, in routines, in the wild noise of everyone else’s expectations—but we also have the power to come home. Home to ourselves. This episode is for every soul that feels a little unseen, for anyone who feels lonely even when surrounded by others, for the moms and entrepreneurs who are pulled in a million directions, and for anyone searching for the first step back to themselves. Katherine’s insights are a gentle reminder that it’s the little acts of self-commitment—a cup of tea enjoyed before the world wakes up, ten minutes of music, a walk, a “life audit”—that build real connection. Start with two minutes. Start with a question. And if you can, thank the people who have helped you remember who you are along the way. Every interaction leaves a mark and, sometimes, the smallest light can guide us home. If you find even a shimmer of resonance with what we talk about in this episode, I hope you’ll tag someone who’s been a part of your story or share the moments that keep you going.
