  2. ep. 7 TOP 5 TIPS FOR ENHANCING PRODUCTIVITY AS AN ENTREPRENEUR

    2024. 03. 22.

ep. 7 TOP 5 TIPS FOR ENHANCING PRODUCTIVITY AS AN ENTREPRENEUR

Intro Welcome to creatively processed! I’m back!! Weekly Review Work Dropped off consignment jewelry, shipped out wholesale order, booked pop-ups, worked with new clients. Media Podcasts, Michael Jackson, The Bee Gees Habits/Obsessions Daily Walks, Apple Watch, Home improvement projects, home depot/menards trips, cleaning supplies, smoothies, decluttering/minimizing/room design, animal crossings at night Goals Get projects done AHEAD of schedule, prep for bachelorette party Topic Discussion TOP 5 TIPS FOR ENHANCING PRODUCTIVITY AS AN ENTREPRENEUR Figure out what your threshold is - at what point does your work stop being productive: I can’t work productively when my family is home. The kids need me and I don’t feel good when I can’t be there for them. So I maximize productivity by only doing business work while everyone is out at work or at school. Make a todo list at night for the next day: Sometimes its hard for me to sleep when I’m thinking about all of the things I have to get done, making a todo list gets it out of your mind and onto paper or the notes app. Giving your brain more room to breathe and rest. Set timers and alarms: One of the biggest things that has helped me keep kiddos on track is setting timers and alarms, violin practice, reading, homework, no more drinks, time to brush teeth/get ready for bed. Bringing it into my worklife has been a game changer especially for open ended projects that don’t have a deadline. Rather than getting sucked in, a timer creates a boundary so that I have time to focus on other important tasks. Eliminate Distractions: Use your dnd, your texts and calls can wait until you have time to respond. Keep your space tidy so you don’t have to stress about a mess. Set proper boundaries to protect your peace and do what you have to do. You will thank yourself when you have a checked off todo list and time to rest at night Make healthy habits a priority: Knowing I have made time for myself to take care of my mind/body motivates me to keep going. I don’t have to worry about fitting in a healthy meal or movement, I don’t have the stress of going another day neglecting my health, I’ve got my own back. Journal Prompts What is my threshold/ when and why do I start to see my productivity dwindle? What are some distractions that limit my productivity and how can I eliminate or minimize them? What is one healthy habit I’ve been neglecting to add to my life, how does that make me feel, and how can I make it a priority? Recap Stop at the threshold before you get upset about your lack of productivity Make a todo list at night for the next day Make use of timers and alarms Eliminate Distractions Make healthy habits a priority!!! Wholesale Tips Create a line Most profitable products (include labor ALWAYS) Materials are easily accessible Create a Spreadsheet!!! States/Cities Stores (name, location, contact info) color code for visual progress Draft a cold email Draft a cold call Go to the store GET TO WORK!
