Romans 11:25-36 - From His Promise to His Glory
Mark Kline :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, May 19, 2024
Is the nation of Israel still God’s chosen people? Are there promises about Israel yet to be fulfilled? Mark Kline preaches from Romans 11:25-36, walking us through the revelation of a mystery regarding the Jews and God’s mercy for Israel and beyond. We discover that God’s plan to choose, harden, and restore Israel is all a means to bring God the glory—Soli Deo gloria!

Romans 11:11-24 - Crafted, Drafted, Grafted
Anand Darla :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, May 12, 2024
"Remember that you [the branch] do not support the root, but the root supports you.” (Romans 11:18). Anand Darla preaches from Romans 11:11-24 on God’s redemptive plan for the remnant of Israel. God crafted a plan to save the Jews, drafted Paul to preach to the Jews and Gentiles, and grafted the Gentiles into the root of salvation. Anand’s message follows a video about Agape Resource Center and Creekside’s supply drive for this ministry, as well as other announcements.

Romans 11:1-10 - Proof of Promises Kept
Steve Smith :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, May 5, 2024
After receiving Paul’s rebuke for their unbelief, the Jews of his day may have thought they had fallen out of favor with God and His promises regarding Israel. In defense of God’s faithfulness, Paul reassures them with two actions God takes in Romans 11:1-10 to reassure them that God has not rejected His chosen people. Pastor Steve’s message follows announcements, including an announcement by Anne Marie Runnels about a supply drive for Agape—a local pregnancy resource center—and recognition of Creekside’s high school and college graduates.

Romans 10:14-21 - Roadmap To Salvation
Alan Crim :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, March 28, 2024
In Alan Crim’s message from Romans 10:14-21, the apostle Paul reveals a roadmap to salvation—one that involves sending, preaching, hearing and believing—and how Israel rejected that map when they had gone off route. Alan's message follows announcements by Amy Johnson.

Romans 10:1-13 - Salvation to All Who Call
Steve Smith :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, April 21, 2024
"The message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved... for, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” (Romans 10:8b,9,13). Pastor Steve’s message from Romans 10:1-13 gives us the reasons for Israel’s rejection of righteousness by faith that teach us 2 important lessons pointing to salvation for all who call upon the name of the Lord: The mistake of righteousness by works instead of faith, and the message of righteousness by faith taught in scripture. Steve’s message follows announcements by Alan Crim.

Romans 9:19-33 - God Didn't Mess Up
Steve Smith :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, April 14, 2024
In Romans 9:19-33, Paul explains God's prerogative in choosing individuals for salvation, and we feel the tension between divine sovereignty and human responsibility, and an emphasis of faith over works in God's redemptive plan. As a continuation of his previous sermon, Pastor Steve provides two more reasons why Israel’s unbelief didn’t mean that God’s word had failed, God’s character is flawed, or that God’s people are forsaken. Steve’s message follows announcements and a recognition of 3 new Creekside members.
