I’ve been listening to 2gog for a few years and I finally started this (adhd kept me forgetting) and of course it’s amazing! The empathy and acknowledgment of how early childhood trauma in high control environments causes permanent damage to the adult. I love the presentation style and storytelling so much. They always deliver.

Had to stop three minutes into the cult episode because of how cheery the host sounded. It just felt so icky I had to look at the reviews if anyone felt the same way. Sounded like she was sipping wine and gossiping about 70 people dying. No one has to sound somber but there’s a middle ground and this isn’t it.
