    Croatian Alphabet

In this very first episode of the CroSTart podcast, I will pronounce all thirty letters of the Croatian Alphabet, one after another. I suggest you listen to it several times. The best way to capture, actually to hear the natural sounds of Croatian pronunciation is following these suggestions: at first, listening just listen to my sound, do not try to repeat, or think how to produce a certain sound. Just listen to them. Then, listen to them once again. A good idea is to look at the picture I have uploaded to the blog, and that contains the Croatian Alphabet (you can print it out for yourselves). On another listening, try to repeat letters just after me. This will be, for sure the hardest part of an exercise in gaining knowledge of the Croatian Alphabet. Just continue, be straightforward, and on the next listening, try to pronounce all the letters just as I am pronouncing them. The more you listen, the more repetition of pronunciations you do - you will become more confident, and familiar with the Croatian Alphabet. As you surely know - "Practice makes perfect.", or "Repetition is the mother of all learning.“. Therefore, It's up to you to overcome your initial struggle with pronounciation. Before-mention saying in Croatian is "Ponavljanje je majka znanja." In Latin: "Repetitio est mater studiorum." The question is how many times something should be repeated to a person in order for this person to grasp it and master it. In my opinion, this not could be the same for all people. It really depends on how hard you study language, and some people got it much easier compared to others. But, it is so true - the more you push yourself, the faster you will gain whatever knowledge you trying to become familiar with.
