Today I wanted to let you know that my latest release is LIVE on Amazon today and I hope you go pick it up! This is WarHulk Marines written with the wonderful Walt Robillard. It’s already blasting up the charts and the reveiws are solid. Check this one out: 5 out of 5 stars Pure, Gritty, Full-Auto Military Sci-Fi Perfection! “As a long-time reader who considers Strange Company and The Old Man and the Wasteland to be absolute masterpieces, I had incredibly high expectations for WarHulk Marines Book Nick Cole and Walt Robillard absolutely delivered. What always sets a Nick Cole book apart is the profound authenticity of the characters. Because of his real-world history as a soldier, you can instantly tell he deeply understands how soldiers actually talk, think, and bleed. The dialogue is sharp, the squad camaraderie feels completely earned, and the military cadence is flawlessly executed without ever falling into cheap clichés. This isn’t just an action-packed space thriller—it’s a claustrophobic, dark, and relentlessly intense operational dive into a waking nightmare. The pacing grabs you by the throat right from the drop and never lets go. If you want your military sci-fi to feel heavy, authentic, and spectacularly hostile, look no further. These writers have a massive hit on their hands. An absolute must-read!” This is a public episode. Hey we are back after our vacation and have some things to talk about on the podcast. Please enjoy! The Future just became more than a Game Call of Duty meets Diablo in this fast-paced, action-packed cyberpunk dark future thriller from the co-creator of Galaxy’s Edge universe. Gamer PerfectQuestion fights for ColaCorp in WarWorld, an online combat sport arena where megacorporations field entire armies in the battle for real world global advertising-space dominance. Within the immense virtual battlefield, players are high-tech grunts, using drop-ships and state-of-the-art weaponry to wipe each other out for BIG PRIZES and a chance at a better tomorrow. But times are tough, and the rent is due, and when players need extra dough, there’s always the Black, an illegal online tournament where the sick and twisted desires of the future are given free rein in the Wastehavens, a Gothic dungeon fantasy world. All too soon, the real and virtual worlds collide when PerfectQuestion refuses to become a tool for a madman intent on hacking the global economy for himself, winner take all. Today’s podcast is for you and we hope you had a great 4th. Please comment and let’s discuss. Also… If you haven’t already check out the Strange Company Trilogy. Three books and each is the size of two books. So, that’s like 6 BOOKS!!!!! The audio version with Christian Ryan Grant is awesome. Stack bodies, get paid, get to the ship. “If you can survive Reaper Platoon in the Strange, then Ghost or Dog Platoons will get you for their own. Best to steer clear of the freaks in Voodoo, kid.” Surrounded and outgunned, a group of private military contractors known as “Strange Company” find themselves on a remote planet at the edge of known space, and on the losing end of a bad contract. Orbital D-beam strikes, dropships bristling with auto-guns, missiles, and troops - even Monarch space marines in state-of-the-art advanced battle rattle - will try to prevent the company from reaching the exfil LZ and getting off-world. For Strange, that means it’s time to hang tough and get it on with as much hyper-kinetic violence as they can muster to get clear of the whole mess. And what the Strange can’t get done by violent assault and crazy firefights, they’ll get done by the freaks of Voodoo Platoon - operators who have been changed by the Dark Labs into powerful and unnervingly unnatural asymmetrical weapons. This is the Strange Company. Because in the Strange, it’s always really Strange. Join them - and get ready for full auto combat at the furthest limits of human exploration. And don’t forget to visit my store. Love, Nick ChaosActual.Com This is a public episode.
