Let’s Taco ‘bout Margaritas: Myths and Legends
You know the old adage: one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor. In this episode of Ctrl-F, Jeff and Amara are honoring that age-old wisdom by drinking fauxgarita mocktails and diving into the exciting legends behind the creation of the Margarita! (Yes, legends as in there are more than one.) As it turns out, the drink that is most often associated with Mexican culture may actually derive from 19th century America.

Piñata Yadda Yadda: The History of the Piñata
In this episode of Ctrl-F ("Control-F"), Jeff Sarris and Amara Andrew celebrate National Piñata Day the only way they know how: by providing historical context to these hollow paper bodies of fun. Unlike their bodies, however, the history of piñatas is far from being hollow. Their history is as richly colored as their exteriors and as mysterious as the identity of the blindfolded attacker. Jeff and Amara explore the birthplace of piñatas which, as it turns out, may not be Mexico after all.

A Case of Stolen Identity: The History of Blondies
In this episode of Ctrl-F ("Control-F"), Jeff Sarris and Amara Andrew talk about the brownie’s less popular albino cousin: the blondie. While most people have had a brownie, it seems like few people have ever actually had a blondie. Little does anyone know, though, that the blondie and the brownie are caught up in a case of stolen identity. The blondie was backstabbed by the brownie in its infancy.
