    By the time investigators connected 50-year-old Richard Rogers to the murders of four middle-aged gay and bisexual men whose remains were discovered in garbage bags between 1991 and 1993, it had been nearly three decades since Richard had first been acquitted of murder after claiming self-defense.     Episode 40 - Colin Ireland: A New Year, A New Level of Depravity

    Having made a murderous New Year's resolution, Colin Ireland studied serial killers before putting his own plan into action. Then, in the spring of 1993, he tortured and killed five gay men: Peter Walker, Christopher Dunn, Perry Bradley III, Andrew Collier, and Emanuel Spiteri.     Because it’s that time of year again, in this episode, we’re covering two cases that happened on Christmas Eve: On December 24, 2014, Dustin Lee Klopp and Stephanie Kilhefner Klopp’s two children would be made orphans, just not all at once.     Episode 37 - Jay Thomas Johnson: There’s No “Aids Commission,” Just Another A**hole

    21-year-old Joel Larson was walking through a popular gay cruising spot in Minneapolis, Minnesota around 11:30 in the evening on July 31, 1991, when he was killed by a bullet to the back. Only ten days later, 19-year-old Cord Draszt and 48-year-old former Minnesota State Senator John Chenoweth were shot at another gay hangout spot. After a six-page letter from the fictitious AIDS Commission claimed responsibility for the hate crimes, authorities realized they had the wrong suspect and raced to track down the real killer before he made good on his threats of more murders to come.
