Spring Break Service Trip 2019: Thailand
In April of 2019, a group of our high school students went on a Spring Break service trip to Thailand. While on this trip, our students spent time serving local people, learning about the culture, and having incredible experiences that many of them had never had before. Before the trip, we asked senior Laura Marsland to take short recordings reflecting on what the group was doing, seeing, hearing, and learning each day. All that you'll hear in this episode (including music, soundscapes from nature, karaoke, etc.) are directly from Laura's recordings. We invite you to enjoy all that Laura captured in this special episode of "Cultivated" (in Thailand!).

Shadowing At Pinewood
So, what is a shadow? At Pinewood, a shadow is a prospective student who visits our school to see if it’s a good fit. Today, we’re going to hear from students at Middle Campus who serve as shadow hosts. Many of them were shadows themselves before coming to Pinewood!
Thank you to Daniel, Lia, Leo, Caroline, Hailey, Riya, and Ahana for lending your voices to today’s episode, and for serving as hosts to our shadows! Our hosts are friendly, kind, inclusive, and LOVE Pinewood.
If you’re a student out there who is considering Pinewood as your future school, we hope you’ll come shadow soon! -
