Psychological Speculation Ruins It

I absolutely love the stories of these cults, but I couldn't handle so much psychological speculation. A disclaimer that they are not doctors and then using one study to say why someone turns out a certain way feels less like research and more like playing armchair doctor. Disappointing because the rest of the info is so interesting!

Love!!

I’m currently listening to the episodes about Heaven’s Gate. I already listened to the Unexplained podcast’s episode about it but there was more in this podcast that I didn’t know. If you like this podcast, I highly suggest listening to Unexplained too. They often address similar or identical topics and I find that these two podcasts work very well together.

Anyways, love this podcast, it’s incredible.
