Curious Mind in Progress is a space where I share what’s on my mind, as I figure out life in my 20s - one question at a time. I’m currently 24, and like most people my age (or any age), have no idea what I'm doing. Through this podcast, I aim to reflect on things that matter to me and spark my curiosity, in order to make a little more sense of it all. Sometimes I bring on people that inspire me in one way or another, and maybe what they'll share will inspire you too.     Living every day like it's your last?

    At what point can someone be considered a friend?

    In this episode, I embark on a journey to discover at what point I consider someone a friend, and why friendship breakups hurt so much (sometimes even more than when breaking up with boo). Why there are so little represented and why we haven't normalised them more - plus giving people more understanding and coping mechanisms. I also discuss why it's important to deal with loneliness, and not pick the people around you based on avoiding yourself. With the help from some academic folks, I'll leave you with some tips on how to deal with a sudden end to a friendship, and how to assess the quality of a friendship and if it's serving you (and you the other person!) In short: quality over quantity, reciprocity is key, love the one and only!     How can I become most free in the Act of Creation?

    Once upon a time, I was creating art without calling it that. I made up stories in my head and acted them out with my Barbies. I dreamt of faraway worlds and lived in them for a while. Now, as a (semi) adult, my brain has decided to sprinkle in self-doubt, perfectionism, and a hearty dose of criticism — and call it a day. In the first part of this five-part series — structured around the questions I ask myself (and attempt to answer) — I explore how we can become most free in the Act of Creation, why channeling your inner child isn’t quite enough, and how to feel less blocked, less critical, and maybe even a little okay with what you make. With wisdom from some of the creatives in my life, plus guidance from Rick Rubin (aka The Creative Act: A Way of Being), I share what’s helped me feel less stuck, and like someone who actually make things.     Dieting, and Other Ways to Waste your Time

    Starting 2024 off right, by talking all things concerning diet culture and myths around dieting! This time I invited my friend Kerstin onto the show, who is a trained Dietitian and who will provide all kinds of interesting information. As we delve deep into unhealthy myths and standards that have been floating around for centuries, around how and what we consume, how we view ourselves and others, and what is considered a healthy and balanced diet, we discover ways to better one's own relationship with food and our own bodies, in order to spread awareness around all the misinformation that is on the internet!
