I’ve listened to the show for years. I love the honest opinions and the earnestness of Meredith and Kaytee.

I really love this podcast. Meredith and Katee I feel are my kindred spirits. I have loved reading my whole life and I love hearing them gush about there reading and there favorite books and bookish stuff. I am so glad I found this podcast and have added so many books to my tbr. Thank you ladies for putting on a great reading podcast. Can’t wait till I am all caught up.

I love this podcast! Kaytee and Meredith have great chemistry and are so thoughtful with the structure and planning of the show. I get so much joy every Monday when the new episode drops. 10/10!!!!

I have listened to CurrentlyReading the past two seasons and decided to go back to the beginning! Sooo good! I love it and it’s doing a lot of damage to my TBR but all the books are available at my library now! I also have to add that I love Kaytee’s focus on bringing diverse voices! I am so impressed and love how much she has broadened my perspective.

Long-time listener and I do love the show but sometimes wish Roxanna or Mary were Meredith’s permanent co-hosts… partly because of their reading choices and partly because they’re so thoughtful/articulate! Kaytee has great deep dive topics/ideas, however. And it’s so so annoying to see all the so-called conservatives go after her for her choices in reading—it’s her podcast, yes she can read whatever she wants! As can anyone, anytime!

I listen to Currently Reading every week as soon as it shows up in my feed! At this point, this is one of my comfort-listen podcasts. Kaytee and Meredith (and crew) consistently bring great books embedded in interesting and thoughtful discussions. Highly recommend this podcast to any reader!

I used to love this podcast and have listened to most episodes. I will still listen on occasion if I need something for a few minutes. I mostly listen to Meredith’s books and skip Kaytee’s picks which are mostly romantasy or romance, middle grade, and books with heavy handed themes that push an ideology. If you disagree with Kaytee she assumes you’re a stupid ignorant bigot and won’t hear anything otherwise. That aside - Meredith is great and I could listen to her all day. I wish she’d get a new co-host.

I took a break from this podcast because of Kaylee’s insistence on pushing her political agenda. Nothing has changed. Unfollowing for good this time.

I have listed to this podcast for years. I have purchased books primarily from All Things Murderful and Elizabeth’s wonderful recommendations. ❤️ She is the only reason that I continued to pay for Patreon. I have been a bookish friend for several years. Tonight was the last straw. I refuse to give one more dime for this podcast. I have tried to look past the frequent woke comments but I have had enough. Even the FB Currently Reading community is woke. Not friendly to conservatives. What a shame. No thank you. If you are expecting a nice podcast to just hear about books this is not it.

I loved this podcasts for the book recommendations. I got many and I think the way they talk about a book is good. But I have to agree with the other reviewers about Kaytee. The 2024 fav episodes was the last straw for me. Being defensive and saying, “my podcast, my rules” all the time is just annoying and doesn’t show willingness to grow. Demeaning other readers saying I read “40 books lower than last year and that’s what most people read in a year” - just NO. It is your podcast but you are annoying and people don’t have to listen.
