In 2014, I set out to do something I’d always believed was impossible for me: achieve a healthy life balance with food, fitness, and myself. After many years of trial and error, I finally found a system that works for me, and started "Community With Caroline," changing the course of my own life, but most importantly, enabling me to help change the lives of thousands of other people as well. Join me as I candidly discuss all aspects of the “fitness” industry and my journey to food freedom, and have open and honest dialogues with healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, mentors, celebrities, bestsellers, polyamorists, coaches, and some of my personal heroes! Amy, President of WeMAD

    Amy, President of WeMAD

In this week's episode of the CWC podcast, I am delighted to be speaking with Amy, who is the creator of WeMAD over @dragonfliesandwhiskey on TikTok. WeMAD is a fictional world where gender roles are flipped and women make all the decisions. Amy’s skits on TikTok call out the absurdity of current events involving misogyny and sexism by swapping the roles of men and women. When she is not on TikTok, Amy is busy raising her three children and building websites. One of Amy's TikToks appeared in my FYP a few months ago and I immediately binged all of her videos. Listen and laugh with us as we discuss women's rights, transgender inequality, breaking free from internalized misogyny, and much more by sharing our personal experiences and views.

    F*** The Hustle

    F*** The Hustle

In this week's episode of the CWC podcast I talk about letting go of things that no longer fulfill you. We (especially women) tend to stick with things that we think we should be doing without considering what we really want. Then, when we fall short of meeting these expectations, we villainize ourselves. Sometimes the most freeing thing we can do is look in the mirror and say, “this is me, and if nothing changes moving forward with my body, then I am okay with that." Sometimes the gym is not a priority, and that's ok. Sometimes meticulously tracking your food is not a priority, and that's ok. It may come back around, but it may not. The point is to do less things that make you miserable, and more things that sound like fun. Life is too short to spend in a gym if you would rather be outside, or on your couch watching movies, giving yourself the care you need in that moment.

    Marriage

    Marriage

In this week's episode of the CWC podcast we’re talking about marriage. I’ve always talked candidly breast implants, sex, women's health, family life, and farm life, so I figured it was time to get real about how amazing, and difficult, marriage can be. I grew up in a generation that valued a picture perfect home and family life, where everything looked great from the outside, even if it wasn’t so great on the inside. Society can be misleading about marriage. We are told that to be happy we should find a romantic partner who is also a best friend, someone we have amazing sexual chemistry with, and our perfect soulmate. That idea is exactly what sets most of us up for failure in the end. In this episode, I’ll talk about the ups and downs of my own 21-year marriage, and don’t worry, it won’t be sugarcoated.

    George Lopez

    George Lopez

This week on the CWC podcast I have the pleasure of interviewing George Lopez, owner of Hardbody Gym. George is originally from the Bronx, New York, and moved to Oklahoma in 2007 to attend Spartan College of Aeronautics. His original passion was aircraft design, but when he moved to Oklahoma that quickly shifted to fitness after joining a local gym. After hosting workout groups and training friends, he knew he wanted to own his own gym. Fast forward to today, he has one of the most successful, welcoming gyms in town that reflects the diversity of our community. We talk business ownership, marriage, bodybuilding competitions, life, and the importance of believing in yourself while putting others first. George is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and I am so honored he came on my podcast. If you are local to Tulsa, Oklahoma, do yourself a favor and check out Hardbody gym!

    F*** Food Labels

    F*** Food Labels

In this week's episode of the CWC podcast, I share a video that I made for our Community girls on the topic of “bad foods.” I work with so many clients who have become terrified of food. I have spent years deconstructing “rules” that I believed for so long to be true, like eating a certain number of meals a day, or not eating past certain times, or only eating carbs with protein. Rules like these kept me locked in a cage for most of my adult life, and now I am teaching other women how to free themselves from similar cages. No foods are "good" or "bad," they are all just foods. Once you remove the scary labels, you free yourself to enjoy your life. Remember, you don't have to be miserable to make progress; diet culture just wants you to believe that so they can sell you another stupid f*****g waist trimmer.

    CWC Client Carla Rhodes

    CWC Client Carla Rhodes

Carla Rhodes returns to the CWC podcast this week to discuss her experience since joining our program. The first time she came on, she was dealing with a cancer diagnosis and BII, and we discussed how both impacted her mental and physical health. After explanting, she began feeling like herself again and she decided to hire us to help her reach her physical goals. Upon joining she assumed she would be working solely on transforming her body, but that's far from what we do at CWC. She decided to give it 100%, even the journaling, which, like many of our clients, she was initially reluctant to do. She talks about how journaling has changed the course of her life over the last five months. She has changed jobs, repaired her marriage, and most importantly gotten to the root of why she was so angry. If you are wondering what it's like at CWC, tune in to Carla's story and hear how she took her life by the balls and changed the things that were making her so unhappy.
As always, both of us are here to answer any questions or just offer an ear.

Dr. Brenner did my explant and lift and he was amazing! He listened. He was very honest and upfront about everything. I felt my symptoms start going away almost immediately and I feel like I have my life back! It’s real. It’s something that can be fixed!! I’m forever grateful for Dr. Brenner and his team.

Real and Relatable!

I’ve followed Caroline on Instagram for the past few years so I’m beyond excited she now has a podcast and we get to hear more of what she has to say on an even more personal level. I love everything she stands for, her honesty, and her realness. From her personal fitness journey, life, breast implant illness, educational content on fitness and health, she talks about it all without a filter which I love.
