    If you've ever wanted what was it like to be a top goal scorer at the professional level, then ask Jake. Ever since he was young, Jake has been scoring left and right. He started off at Binghamton University and became their athlete of week on multiple occasions. After he got drafted to the Philadelphia Union, he decided to begin his career with FCA Darmstadt in Germany? He moved to Galway United in Ireland before jumping into the NASL with Fc Edmonton in Canada. He scored countless of times across the seasons and decided to move back to Europe one more time with St. Patrick's Athletic. He got to play at the highest level and faced teams like Newcastle and Liverpool FC on occasions. Nevertheless, when he returned to America, he wanted more, and won the USL League One Title in 2020. In this episode, he dives deep into the reality of playing in different countries and ultimately what it takes to make to the next level.     This is the story of Ali Hall. Growing up, Ali's father inspired her to play soccer as she looked up to many legends like Michelle Akers and Gerrard Pique. During her teens, she dominated the youth game and was able to win a national championship at 15 years old. Quickly, she transitioned into the University of Tennessee and got to compete at the division 1 level. After graduation, she moved to California and began playing beach soccer at 26 years old. Soon, Ali picked up the sport and joined a local club, Cali Beach SC, and became the captain of her team. With time, she signed a contact with the U.S. Women’s National Team and started competing in several international tournaments.     This is the story of Luis Swisher. Initially born from Guatemala, Luis quickly fell in love with the beautiful game. Growing up, he was inspired by his Uncle's career and looked up to Romario, Ronaldo, and later Cafu. At 18 years old, he made his pro debut in their first division, he made his international debut, and got to play in some world cup and olympic qualifying matches. In the mid 2000's, he became the first Guatemalan to transfer to a European club. After his retirement from the professional world, he began working with FIFpro to improve the landscape for the next generation of footballers. He continue pursing his education and graduated from ESI with his Master's in Business Administration. Then, he began his path into coaching and started working with DC United, NY Red Bulls, FC Boulder, and St Louis FC. Today, Luis is an experienced coach rising for St. Louis SC in the MLS Next program.     I Spent A Day With A MLS Athletic Trainer: Eric Schwartz

    This is the Story of Eric Schwartz. From Student to the Head MLS Athletic Trainer for the New England Revolution. Initially born from St. Louis, Eric grew up inspired by all types of sports. He fell in love with soccer and looked up to Landon Donvan at an early age. After getting his masters from the University of Arkansas, Eric went on a season internship with DC United. He spent a few years with the club, working his way from throughout the academy and later the first team. He built many relationships and even got to work with some elite professionals such as Wayne Rooney. After Covid-19 took storm, he moved to Sporting KC and became more educated in the field. He learned the science to dry needling and took part in their high performance summit during 2022. In his final season with Sporting, they made an unbelievable push into the playoffs and found success against his hometown team, St. Louis SC. Today Eric remains passionate, optimistic, and driven to serve the next generation of footballers. Now, he is the director of sports medicine for the New England Revolution.
