Episode 144 - Travis Cochran | The Technician // Why High Performers Still Feel Lost

In this episode I sit down with Travis Cochran, better known as The Technician. Trav grew up on the Sunshine Coast and was heavily involved in rugby league from a young age, eventually finding himself on the pathway towards playing for the Brisbane Broncos. But after years of being told who he was supposed to become, he eventually made the decision to walk away and figure out who he actually wanted to be. That journey led him deep into personal development, identity, masculinity, performance and understanding the patterns that shape the way we live our lives. Today, Travis works as a coach helping athletes, business owners and high performers understand what’s actually holding them back, rather than just throwing another motivational quote at the problem. We get into masculinity, purpose, self-worth, performance, relationships, identity and the unconscious patterns that can have a massive impact on how we show up in life. A pretty raw conversation about figuring out who you are, taking responsibility for it, and having the balls to change when the life you're living isn't actually the life you want. Episode 142 - ALEX MARIN // "The Hardest Decision of My Racing Career"

For over a decade, Alex Marín has been one of Spain's fastest downhill mountain bikers, carving out an impressive career on the UCI World Cup circuit. From standing on Junior World Cup podiums to consistently battling inside the Elite top 10 against the best riders in the world, Alex experienced every high and low that comes with racing at the highest level. After retiring from World Cup downhill, he didn't step away from competition. Instead, he embraced a new challenge, racing the E-Bike World Enduro Series before taking on one of the most exciting disciplines in cycling today: Red Bull's Urban Downhill events, where massive jumps, stair sets, and city streets become the race track. In this episode, Alex opens up about what it's really like to spend ten years chasing the World Cup dream, the sacrifices behind life as a professional athlete, the mental and physical demands of elite racing, and why he decided it was time to close one chapter and start another. We also dive into his transition into urban racing, adapting to a completely different style of competition, and what continues to fuel his passion for riding. Whether you're a mountain bike fan, an aspiring racer, or someone navigating life after a major career change, this conversation is packed with honest insights, great stories, and lessons from one of Spain's most accomplished downhill racers.
