    So I have had a change of heart about what I want to do with this Podcast. During the first 4 episodes, I wanted to do a family friendly, informative point of view of my life as a single dad of two little kids. I wanted to share tips and stories of my experiences. Basically playing it safe in order to have a more approachable podcast. Well I took time off, basically reevaluating my approach to doing this podcast. I didn't want to be "fake" just to get clicks and subs. I decided to rebrand, and basically express the realness of what I go through as a single dad. This includes my frustrations, troubles, and difficulties, as well as talking about the great days and pure joy of being a single dad. I am hoping that this new format will appeal to an audience out there. I would love to hear from you.

That is; as a single parent, how do I deal with taking care of the kids and working a freelance job? How has my priorities changed? How has my workflow been affected? Am I still happy with my job? I talk about all of these in a very honest confession.

    This is Ep 003 of a new Podcast. My name is Gary and I am a single Dad of two young kids. I wanted to share my stories, thoughts, ideas, frustrations, problems, and strategies of being a single Dad in today's world. I am hoping other parents ( single or not ) will find something that connects to them with this new series. Ep 003 - SOLO DAD SUMMER series - "Screen Time and Guilt Games" So since this is summer and the kids are not in school, and we live in the desert, so too hot most days to go outside. The topic of screen time and tv time came up with some parent friends of mine. Some parents with the same age kids, and some that are brand new. The brand new parents were worried about screen time and what it might do to their kid and how they want to be anti screen time. They had all these plans on how to be anti screen time with their kid, and the other parents just looked at each other and laughed. Because we knew that as parents in 2025, Screen time is a must and life savers. You just have to control it and monitor how you feel fit for your kid. In this episode, I talk about how I chose to deal with screen time with my 5 year old and 3 year old.

I wanted to share my stories, thoughts, ideas, frustrations, problems, and strategies of being a single Dad in today's world. I am hoping other parents ( single or not ) will find something that connects to them with this new series. Ep 002 - SOLO DAD SUMMER series - "Lunches, Snacks and the Never-Ending - I'M HUNGRY " This summer I am continuing A SOLO DAD series. This episode I focus on Food, Snacks and trying to get your kids to eat when they don't know what they want. As a parent with two kids under 6, it can be a challenge to get them to eat healthy. To be honest, sometimes it's a challenge to get them to eat anything you bring them. I have not perfected the art of figuring out what my kids hunger pallets are like, but I have tried my best to try tricks, hacks and healthy/ junk food moderation to get their little bellies fed.

I wanted to share my stories, thoughts, ideas, frustrations, problems, and strategies of being a single Dad in today's world. I am hoping other parents ( single or not ) will find something that connects to them with this new series. Ep 001 - SOLO DAD SUMMER series - "The Backyard is the Beach" This summer I wanted to spread out episodes and focus mainly on parenting kids during the summertime. This first episode I talk about how I turned my small yard and a small unused area in my home into a water park Hawaiian adventure for my kids and all of it was under $500.
