    Writers Conference 1 and 2

Writers are often self-deprecating... and then, somehow, continue to write and show their work to others. Daddybuck was no exception. These pieces are about writers, which I like to think includes himself, and me, and so many creators besides.
    Music:
"Brittle Rille" by Kevin McLeod, https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/
Suite in G, Minuet 1 by Johann Sebastian Bach, performed by cellist Mark Holt, cellokeys.wordpress.com

Over the Rainbow in a Spaceship

Over the Rainbow in a Spaceship

Here is the sci-fi parody I wrote and sung to my Daddybuck's piano playing, with my thoughts on escapism and I get a little intense at the end, sorry... It's fine, everything's fine!
    Music:
"Over the Rainbow" composed by Harold Arlen and played by John S. Townsend on piano. Lyrics by me.
"Brittle Rille" by Kevin McLeod at incompetech.com
"Loopbox (Violet Fuzz)" by the incredible Breakmaster Cylinder at breakmastercylinder.bandcamp.com

John Townsend II ,

Wonderful

Thanks, Lindsay, for your podcast! Daddybuck (your grandfather and my dad) was so creative in how he expressed his perspective and emotions on life, relationships, faith and so much more. What a great way to showcase his contributions. And I love your own creative "pay it forward" as well. Keep up the great work!
