Dakota Dialogues Podcast Preview

Welcome to Dakota Dialogues, a podcast about the health of democracy in South Dakota. Listen in as hosts Shane Nordyke and Julia Hellwege talk with both experts and locals about recent polling data that sheds insight into the perspectives of South Dakota voters and how we might bring more strength and success to governance in the state. This trailer video was presented at the Chiesman Center for Democracy's annual conference in March 2024. It features a sampling of the guests and topics covered over the course of this series. More info on the polling data used as the basis for these conversations and the work of Chiesman Center at University of South Dakota can be found here. The majority of these interviews were recorded in December 2023 and January 2024 at the South Dakota Public Broadcasting studios in Vermillion. Laine Moser Productions produced and edited the recordings. Our intro music is sampled from "You Were There" by Melanie Moser & the Eleventh Hour Band.
