    39. Does God Want Me to Be Rich?

Money can be one of the most uncomfortable topics for Christian women in business. We want to honor God.We want to stay humble. But we also feel called to build, lead, and grow. So the question arises often quietly: Does God want me to be rich? In this episode of Dalaina, we explore that tension honestly and biblically. Dalaina breaks down what Scripture does—and does not—say about wealth, why money itself is not evil, and why financial struggle is often mistaken for spiritual maturity. This conversation reframes wealth not as accumulation, but as stewardship—and invites you to see your business as something God has entrusted to you, not something you need to minimize out of fear. In this episode, you’ll learn: What the Bible actually says about money and wealth Why loving God and desiring growth are not opposites The difference between prosperity and stewardship Why burnout and constant lack don’t honor God How to view business growth through obedience, not guilt If you’ve ever felt torn between your faith and your desire to expand—this episode will bring clarity, peace, and permission to build with both conviction and confidence. ➡️ Ready to build with intention? 37. The Real Reason You’re Burnt Out In Your Business

If you’ve ever thought,  “I love what I do, but I’m exhausted,” this episode is for you. In this episode of Dalaina, we’re unpacking the real cause of burnout for service providers—and it has nothing to do with your workload. Hourly pricing creates pressure, caps your income, and ties your earning potential directly to how much you can physically work. Over time, that model leads to exhaustion, resentment, and the feeling that no matter how hard you try, you can’t get ahead. In this conversation, Dalaina explains why burnout isn’t a time management issue—it’s a pricing and structure issue. In this episode, you’ll learn: Why hourly pricing is the hidden driver of burnout How charging by the hour punishes efficiency Why working harder never creates freedom What actually changes when you stop selling time How to think about pricing through a CEO lens If you’re booked out, burnt out, or quietly questioning whether this model is sustainable long-term, this episode will give you clarity—and a new way forward. Ready for the next step? She Scales is Dalaina’s signature program for service providers who are ready to: Move away from hourly pricing Create scalable, sustainable offers Build systems that support growth without burnout 🔗 www.virtuallyfreeacademy.com/shescales  If this episode helped you, consider sharing it with another service provider who needs to hear this—and don’t forget to leave a review so this message reaches the women who are ready to scale.

    34. The Aisle 9 Breakdown That Changed My Entire Business: How Boundaries Saved My Sanity as a Service Provider

A few years ago, I had a full-blown meltdown in aisle 9 of Publix. I was six months pregnant, juggling multiple clients, bringing in $17k a month… and drowning in expectations I had accidentally created. One text from a client, “When the sun is up, you need to be on call for me,” sent my nervous system into panic mode. My heart was racing, my armpits were sweating, and everything inside me screamed RUN. I grabbed my toddler, left my entire cart of groceries behind, and rushed home. That moment cracked me open because I realized something painful and freeing: I created this and I could un-create it… In today’s episode, I’m sharing the story behind that moment and the exact boundaries I put in place afterward that changed my life, my business, and my ability to scale without burning out. Whether you're a Virtual Assistant, Freelancer, or service provider of any kind… these boundaries will give you structure, protect your peace, and help you run your business like the CEO you are, not the employee your clients expect you to be. HERE ARE THE 3 KEY TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS EPISODE: 1️⃣ You Teach Clients How to Treat You - In Publix aisle 9, I realized I had trained my clients to expect 24/7 access. No boundaries, instant responses, zero separation between my life and my workload. If you don’t set the standard, someone else will and it usually won’t be in your favor. 2️⃣ Boundaries Create Freedom, Not Restriction - Once I implemented real boundaries: office hours, DND mode, scope control, red-flag-free discovery calls, everything improved. My income stabilized, my stress decreased, and my clients respected me MORE, not less. Boundaries make you better to work with, not harder to work with. 3️⃣ Burnout Happens When You Don’t Protect Your Energy - If you’re flinching when a client messages you… if your chest tightens before you open your inbox… if you’re responding at all hours… you’re not lacking motivation, you’re lacking boundaries. And the good news? Boundaries are a skill you can build quickly. RESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE: 👉 Want to scale your VA or freelance business? 32. 3 Sales Shifts That Helped Me Land High-Paying Clients (Without Feeling Salesy)

After last week’s faith-filled return, we’re diving straight into something most Virtual Assistants struggle with—sales. But not just any kind of sales… sales that feel aligned, full of integrity, and actually work. In this episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on the 3 sales shifts that helped me go from undercharging and second-guessing myself to confidently booking high-paying, aligned clients—without feeling pushy, fake, or salesy. This isn’t about learning how to manipulate or close fast—it’s a conversation for the woman who knows her services are valuable but just needs the strategy (and mindset shift) to finally sell them well. In this episode, we talk about: Why trying to convince clients is actually pushing them away The real reason underpricing is hurting your business How to stop selling “admin help” and start positioning your services as transformation How to bring faith and integrity into every sales conversation Encouragement for the woman who wants to grow without becoming someone she’s not Scripture Mentioned:Colossians 3:23 – “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Work with Dalaina!Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been a Virtual Assistant for a while, I’d love to help you grow with strategy, confidence, and faith. 📲 DM me the word READY on Instagram @dalainamarkayknight and let’s chat about how I can support you in landing high-paying clients and building a business that honors your purpose and provides for your family.
