    While on assignment in New Orleans to investigate the city’s spooky urban legends, Petra finds herself at The house of Ink and Blood, a tattoo shop rumored by the locals to deal in the supernatural with magical tattoos that grant the wearers protection against evil spirits. Skeptical of all things paranormal, Petra's plan is to uncover the truth behind these urban legends and prove that it’s all just smoke and mirrors to attract drunken tourists. That is until she steps inside the eerie shop and meets Dax Rousseau, the tall, dark and tatted owner, whose cold, unfriendly demeanor and towering presence obviously meant to intimidate, gives her the sense that there’s a dark secret hiding behind those eyes and the journalist in her must find out what.     A stolen kiss at midnight, in Paris on New Years Eve, by a tall, handsome masked stranger leaves Lexi Austin seeing stars. A fairy tale in the making, that is until it’s revealed that her mystery man, is none other than her strikingly handsome, womanizing best friend Quentin Reddick. Although his passionate kiss sparked desires in her that had long been dormant, Lexi isn’t willing to take things any further and risk ruining their friendship.  After divorcing her cheating ex-husband and getting to witness firsthand Quentin’s man-whorish ways, Lexi is hesitant to give Quentin a chance, not believing that he can truly change and leave behind his revolving door of beautiful women for good. Lexi is determined to maintain the status quo and ignore her cravings that kiss awoke in her, but Quentin has set his sights on making Lexi his no matter what and the lawyer in him refuses to lose. After that kiss in Paris, Quentin realizes that it has always been Lexi for him but convincing his best friend to give them a chance, is going to take more than just his good looks, especially when she already knows his playbook. But everything worth having is worth fighting for, and Lexi is definitely worth the fight, but when the past rears its ugly head, even their friendship is put to the test.     Ep 45: Swordheart

    When Halla, a middle-aged widow, becomes the beneficiary of a large estate after the death of her late husband’s great uncle. Her good fortune quickly takes a turn for the worse when her scheming in-laws, jilted after being overlooked in his will, locks her in her room, planning to marry her off to her cousin to get their hands on her wealth.  After being locked in her room for 3 days, she decides that death would be a better choice than being forced to marry again, especially to her clammy handed cousin Alver, she frantically searches for a way to take her life before that happens. Desperate and with very few choices, a sword mounted above her bed seems to be her only option.  While trying to find a way to take her life with the least amount of pain, Halla unknowingly releases Sarkis, an immortal warrior who inhabits the great sword and is now spellbound to protect her. Pushing down the shock of a strange, armored man appearing out of a sword, Halla takes this opportunity to try and  escape her captivity with the help of her surly new companion.  After a messy escape, Halla finds herself on the run with Sarkis as her guard, searching for a way to stop her in-laws from retaliating against her. They set out on a journey, hoping to partition the counsel for help, but trouble seems to find them at every turn, earning them even more enemies along the way. With every obstacle seemingly against them will Halla ever gain the freedom she’s always wanted? Or will she lose everything including the one thing she didn’t expect to find? Let’s find out!     Violet is a typical, down-on-her-luck millennial: mid-twenties, over-educated and drowning in debt, on the verge of moving into her parents' basement. When a lifeline appears in the form of a very unconventional job in neighboring Cambric Creek, she has no choice but to grab at it with both hands. Morning Glory Farm offers full-time hours, full benefits, and generous pay with no experience needed . . . There's only one catch. The clientele is Grade A certified prime beef, with the manly, meaty endowments to match. Hands-on work with minotaurs isn’t something Violet ever considered as a career option, but she’s determined to turn the opportunity into a reversal of fortune. When a stern, deep-voiced client begins to specially request her for his sessions at the farm, maintaining her professionalism and keeping him out of her dreams is easier said than done. Violet is resolved to make a dent in her student loans and afford name-brand orange juice, and a one-sided crush on an out-of-her-league minotaur is not a part of her plan—unless her feelings aren’t so one-sided after all.
