    9. Reparenting: The Path to Self-Love with Shenikka Moore-Clarke

    This episode was a sweet honor to our younger parts and to both of us who happened to have nervous system storms that were actually happening around the same time about 5 years ago! I loved talking with Shenikka about reparenting the parts of us that have core unmet needs. This episode is about inner child healing and moving towards ourselves with love. I discovered that we both did the exact same training in somatic parts work. How fun is that? Parts work and inner child healing is a big part of both of our approaches to helping clients. I’m so grateful we could have this conversation together and that Shenikka graciously led a guided somatic practice at the end. It’s so amazing to me how every time I connect somatically like this I understand a part of me to a deeper degree.     6. Somatic Tracking Meditation

    In this episode I define what somatic means and share a 20 minute somatic tracking meditation. "Somatic" comes from the Greek word "soma" which means body. In short, somatic refers to the connection, awareness, and attunement of your body and the sensations it experiences. This meditation is a great way to begin to connect with the wisdom of your body and guide you to increase your awareness of sensations and emotions held in your body. It is a loving compassionate way of connecting to the parts of yourself that are in need. I hope it helps you come back home to your body!     5. The Healing Power of Art with Pamela O'Brien

    I'm so grateful that Pamela joined me on this podcast episode to talk about art therapy and how it helped her organically heal from chronic illnesses. After talking through her personal healing journey, she coached me and guided me through a therapy practice in real time, which you can also do on your own. All you need is paper, a sharpie, and coloring utensils of some kind. I was vulnerable and shared my reflections of the process. I have always loved art and been drawn to creativity.
