    A 2-Star General on Trump's Made-Up Iran War

    Welcome to Danger Close — my new show where I sit down with people who actually know what they're talking about and get into the issues of the day. This is the first one, kind of a proof of concept, so if you want more of this from me, you know what to do. To kick it off I sat down with retired Major General Randy Manner — 36 years in the Army, former Operations Chief at the Pentagon — and asked him to be honest about the war with Iran. He was. He calls it a made-up war, says the Secretary of Defense is a clear and present danger to our national security, and breaks down how many munitions we've already burned through trying to fight it. We also get into the lies coming out of the White House, why Iran was never actually listed as a threat to the United States, and what he thinks the next year holds for this country.
