Pulp Horror, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Crime, Westerns  and other genres that are in the the Pulp Novel orbit . Plus the occasional non fiction and other books I have read ( I read a lot of nature writing) and more modern novels. It's important widen your reading horizons! Plus, random tales from the past, thoughts on the future, struggles with broken pens, splattered ink and chats about cheap trashy films, monsters and other nonsense. Welcome all!!!

    Hi, sorry it's been a while! As a bit of a bonus here are some reviews from my pulp horror book collection. I recorded these a while back, but have edited them togehter. I did some reviews over at my Library of doom site, which i stopped as they took so long to write and I just didnt have the time. Thats an awful excuse . However, I realise , as an ex book seller, I love talking about these books rather than writing about them. So, expect more of these. I know there are hundred of book review podcasts out on in the podworld, but i do love banging on about these.     Night of the Demon. It's in the Trees! It's Coming!

    Today I have a chat about one of the great movies of british folk horror cinema, Night of the Demon. I love this movie! A very early influnce on me and one of the first horror movies to scare the bejesus out of me.     The Comic Strip Delights of House of Hammer Magazine and other things
