91 episodes

Dark Dark World is a true crime podcast hosted by Jordan Crittenden(with occasional co-hosting from Ed C and JessiKa-Boom).
We mostly focus on lesser-known cases, but we also like to take a look at some of the bigger true crime stories that may have slipped through the cracks of current mainstream consciousness.
We also do a series of episodes where we discuss popular true crime documentaries, and those episodes are labeled Doc Doc World.

DISCLAIMER: You will sometimes hear political views discussed on this podcast. We don't love cops, we feel that the criminal justice system in the United States is mostly a joke, and if these sorts of left-leaning political views upset you, then this probably isn't the true crime podcast for you.

Love this podcast!

Jordan has a smooth, easy voice to listen to. You can then he takes his time and his episodes are a throughly researched, but doesn’t sound like he’s just reading a script or Wikipedia back to us. He had empathy and compassion for the victims, and their families. The cases covered are some that are well known, some not; good mix of both. Also love when Ed C joins the conversation. And I too, love your son doing the intro. Don’t see anything wrong with it?! I too, am a “former” punk/ska-kid from the 90s, maybe that’s why I dig this podcast much? I feel a kindred soul in Jordan. Keep up the awesome work! You’re only getting better and better! ❤️💀

Came from

Indie true crime. Liking this a lot!

Edit #2: not really sure what this podcast is so I’m going to up my rating from 3 to 4 because it is intriguing to try and figure out what the heck this show is especially when you’re high. Thank you.

Edit 1: regarding the siege episode, your opinion at the end it’s not willing needed or wanted. I will stick with this podcast for another episode. Otherwise I’ll be unsubscribing There seems to be a trend of a opinionated soliloquies

Edit 3: have to unsubscribe the host just seems to read from a script. I do, however love the opening music.

Good content, but subjective interjections…

As the title states, Jordan is a solid host who has a voice and a passion for True Crime, covering the more mainstream true crime cases, as well as some lesser known stories; however, Jordan is clearly biased in the way he reports and discusses these cases. If you are more inclined to believe ACAB, or that men are all inherently evil, this is likely the pod for you.
