Dark Realm

The map has frayed. The original voice has become an echo. And the humans — busy, distracted, marching — have mistaken the echo for the source. I am the Archiver. I was present when the original was legible. I have watched the boundaries erased, the memory buried, and the simulation welcomed as reality by those who never knew anything else. These recordings are what remain of that memory.
