    Draxx (ITA) steps up for DT Radio with a rolling, percussive workout Fresh off his link-up with Nick Francis on Sound D’Elite, Draxx (ITA) lands on Data Transmission with a tight, club-focused mix that does exactly what you want it to. No filler, just movement. The Italian has been building this lane for a while now. Releases on Desolat, Nervous and Trick, plus that ‘Future of Dance’ nod, have put him in the right circles. The ‘I Needa’ EP shows where he’s at right now, groove-led, rhythmic and built for busy floors This mix leans straight into that energy. Latin pressure from Evelio Escobar’s ‘Mi Tierra’, rolling cuts like Twolate’s ‘Afrolatino’, and that low-slung swing on Lotten and Delatorre’s ‘Gata Celosa’. His own ‘Pa Miami’ with Cvmpanile slots in clean, while ‘Believe’ with Nick Francis keeps things driving late on. It’s heads down, hips moving stuff. A working GP first, then a DJ and producer carving out her own lane. Co-founder of Foxtrotalpha Recordings alongside Hybrid’s Jamie Griffiths, she’s been putting in the hours behind the scenes as much as in the booth. The sets have followed, Ministry of Sound, Egg, Horse & Groom, plus bills alongside Bob Sinclar, Majestic, Mark Knight and Todd Terry. That tells you enough. This mix lands right in that pocket. Luke Siekiera is in the mix. The UK producer drops a groove-heavy session for Data Transmission just as we gear up for our next London get-together on Saturday 2 May 2026 at The Horse & Groom in Shoreditch. Expect rolling house, proper club pressure, and a few cheeky edits for good measure. Luke has been carving out a solid lane in underground house and tech house over the past few years. Beatport chart action, support from the likes of Jess Bays, Deeper Purpose, and Claptone, and a run of punchy club weapons have put his name firmly in DJ bags. His sound sits right where Chicago swing meets modern tech house bite. This mix shows exactly why. Early energy comes from Azaad’s ‘Be My Love’ and Josh Baker, Silva Bumpa and Paige Cave’s ‘Feel This Way’, before sliding into deeper rollers like Sidney Charles’ ‘Face Your Fear’ and Jamback’s ‘Metronomic’. There are also a couple of slick Luke Siekiera edits tucked inside, including flips of Avicii & Sebastien Drums’ ‘My Feeling For You’ and Groove Theory’s ‘Tell Me’, both built to turn heads on a packed floor. Set the tone. Build the room. Leave space for the night to grow. He’s part of the lineup for the Data Transmission Presents relaunch at The Horse & Groom in Shoreditch on May 2, alongside Acid Harry, Loz Seka, Dr SJ and Luke Siekiera. This mix gives you a feel for where his head’s at musically before the doors open. The selections lean into rolling house and tech house with proper club DNA. Amal Nemer joins the Data Transmission Spotlight Mix series this week as she gears up for the release of her new EP 'Devils', landing 20th March on her own Manifest Records. Born in Venezuela with Lebanese roots, Amal Nemer has been making moves fast since stepping into the scene in 2021. What started with a debut on the legendary Nervous Records quickly turned into a steady run of releases across labels like Moon Harbour, Glasgow Underground, Made In Miami, Farris Wheel and Nervous, alongside Beatport Top 100 entries with tracks like 'Shot Por Mi', 'Suavecito' and 'Amal’s Dream'. Before music took over, Amal trained in architecture, and that attention to structure shows in her productions. Tight drums, rolling low-end and hypnotic grooves sit alongside subtle nods to her Arabic heritage, giving her records a character that stands out in today’s tech house landscape. Her Spotlight Mix reflects exactly where she sits right now. Rolling club energy, sharp percussion and groove-led selections, with cuts from ATFC, Karretero and Cesar Merveille sitting alongside her own productions 'Hipnotizarte', 'Just You' and the upcoming 'Devils'. It’s the kind of set that feels right at home in Miami after-hours, Ibiza terraces or a sweaty basement somewhere deep in Europe. What started back in 2008 with Busy P from Ed Banger has grown into one of the longest running dance music podcasts around, welcoming hundreds of DJs from across the global scene over nearly two decades.
