    An in depth and irreverent look at 90's TV classic Dawson's Creek hosted by Kathryn and Katie.  This episode, we’re recording in person (again and apologies for the purring cat at the start of this recording!) and very much celebrating this festive season with the only proper Dawson’s Creek Christmas episode! Everyone is gathering at Capeside to celebrate the holidays and we are absolutely incensed at the guestlist and spend a decent part of this theorising why Natasha and Todd have turned up (the resulting answer is truly solid honestly). We’re chatting Stockbroker Pacey being deeply unshaggable, a long conversation about eggnog (thrilling, we know), how Doug is this ex's MVP and how Dawson's Creek would be better if David Lynch directed it So, let’s fling ourselves with abandon into class A drugs, painkillers and booze (and, of course, Christmas!), push some relationships too far, too soon, ignore our friends blatant cries for help and walk on a sparkly blanket of snow.     S6, E9 - The Return of the Flaring Nostrils

    An in depth and irreverent look at 90's TV classic Dawson's Creek hosted by Kathryn and Katie. This episode, we’re recording in person (again!) and having some right laughs over Joey, Dawson and Pacey being ridiculous (individually, not together). Joey is getting so laid she missed a test then blames everyone else, Dawson is getting so laid he can’t be his true honest self anymore (lol Dawson) and Pacey surprisingly is not getting laid but is lying. We’re chatting truly horrendous craft services on Todd’s film set, some renewed sleeping in denim rage, Eddie’s Valium dick and how woman are just one homogenous lump offering men sex. So, let’s forget how to tell time even though we have something super important to do, blame everyone else for our own glaring errors, neglect to tell people about a bet we could have easily shared and talk to our bosses like they are idiots (even if they deserve it!) We have another boring argument between Joey and Eddie, Audrey is getting trashed and trashing Blondie and Pacey is improbably in NOLA. Also, we have another teacher behaving like a massive predator (that the writers are treating like a lost love story) and we’re furious. We’re chatting misplaced sperm, sex worker storylines and get to enjoy just a huge amount of really terrible men. Also, Audrey might be singing (badly) again and so are we! So grab your overnight bag for an unnecessary trip to NOLA, start a fight over literally nothing and be sure to patch it up again by the end of the day. HOOT, HOOT. This week, we’re finally back and doing the much promised and completely not delivered Halloween episode. We’re at a ‘morally impaired’ party and Dawson is seeing things (well, ghosts), Jen is trying her luck with Jensen Ackles and Pacey and Audrey are finally on the outs. Also, Joey is doing her daddy issues thing again and there’s some more hate flirting with Eddie. We’re chatting spaff (some things don’t change everyone!), how ‘morally impaired’ should be a recognised condition, whether we'd kick Jensen Ackles out of bed and Katie shows us how to make everything about ourselves. So, let’s get spooky with the most unlikely and stupid Halloween prank ever, deal with a hugely stereotypical teen and finally put the final nail in the coffin (see what we did there?) of Pacey and Audrey. We’re chatting tips and t**s, Pacey’s sexy knitwear, niche references from 90’s UK TV and how Dawson is Skipper to Pacey’s Barbie. So, let’s get into the actors studio with Dawson Leery, Patron Saint of the Creek, form then perform with a band in less than 24 hours and get so angry at literally everything.     Freaks, Gleeks and Dawson's Creek with Thea Glassman

    This week, Kathryn had the absolute pleasure to chat with entertainment journalist and author of the brilliant ‘Freaks, Gleeks and Dawson’s Creek’, Thea Glassman. Kathryn and Thea chat about this wonderful book and then about the Dawson’s Creek chapter specifically. Thea tells Kathryn about some behind the scenes drama, how she has recently interviewed Joshua Jackson (scream!) and about a Dawson’s Creek spin off (it will blow your mind). We get nostalgic and talk about our favourite episodes and the great Pacey or Dawson question. (Also, Kathryn knows she mislabeled Promicide as The Anti Prom, she’s very sorry).  ‘Freaks, Gleeks and Dawson’s Creek’ is an amazing book that covers 7 iconic teen shows, we can’t recommend it enough!
