Dead Men Do Tell Tales is a bimonthly podcast produced by two pathology residents interested in becoming forensic pathologists, Drs. Jordan Taylor (JET) and Nicole Croom (Nic). Forensic pathology is a medical subspecialty that focuses on determining the cause, manner, and mechanism of death. Forensic pathologists help organize and work closely with death investigators to piece together a person’s final moments. Each episode, JET and Nic engage in an in-depth conversation about a forensics-related topic with the aims of: (1) de-mythifying the field of forensic pathology for the general public and (2) increasing interest in the pursuit of forensic medicine as a career.

The BEST Podcast
I recently started listening to this podcast and I love it so much!! I’m an aspiring forensic pathologist and I love that this podcast even exists. It’s so niche that I assumed there wouldn’t be a podcast on this topic but I’m so glad I searched just to see! I’m more and more drawn to this profession with every episode I listen to.
5 stars do tell tales ….
Easy 5 stars to give. This show should be a prerequisite for all true crime fans. Easy listening despite the loaded medical jargon. Interesting fabulous topics - cheers to you both for content & delivery. Forever listener … <3 “T”
My new favorite
I’m not in the medical, legal, LEO field at all. But this has become my absolute favorite podcast. It’s SO interesting and engaging, even if you aren’t going into forensic pathology/death investigations. But oh my goodness, this podcast will make you wish you did!
