    Deciphering a Bible Code

    Mark Haughwout discusses a Bible Code in Jeremiah chapters 25 and 51.  The discussion includes how to decipher this code in the Bible as well as the history of the word Cipher which comes from the name for the Arabic numeral Zero.  The word "Atbash" describes the type of Cipher found in Jeremiah.

    Pentecost and First Fruits

    Jesus fulfilled Passover, First Fruits and Pentecost, so why did the Rabbis try to make it look like He didn't.  Mark Haughwout explains the holiday of Pentecost and the little known Biblical holiday of First Fruits.  The Jews of the first century believed that Pentecost always fell on a Sunday, but today Jews that do not believe in Jesus as the Messiah celebrate Pentecost on random days of the week.  So who correctly celebrates Pentecost and the earlier holiday of First Fruits.  #Bible #Pentecost #Shavuot #firstfruits

    What Old Testament

    The term "Old Testament" is a misnomer.  Only a small portion of the first 39 books of the Bible are actually the "old testament" or the "law of Moses".  There are several more "testaments" or "covenants" in those 39 books and many of those covenants are still in effect today, including the covenant to give the Jews the Promised Land forever.  A better term for the "old testament" is to use the name "Hebrew Bible".  #oldtestament #covenanttheology #covenants #testaments #Israel

    Purim 2026

    Today, March 3, 2026 is the Biblical holiday of Purim.  Purim is the celebration of God's deliverance of the Jewish people from destruction and God's granting them victory over their enemies.  The events are recorded in the Book of Esther in the Bible and they occurred in the land of Iran.  Today, during the Purim holiday season God is granting the Jews deliverance from the threat of Islamic Iran.  Pray that Iran and the Iranian people will be saved from the curse of the Islamic religion.  Pray that the gospel will spread in Iran.  #Iran #Persia #Purim #Esther #Islam #Iranianrevolution

    The Lord's Supper, Communion and The Catholic Mass refuted

    Mark Haughwout discusses the Lord's Supper, which is also called Communion.  Transubstantiation is refuted, but also the entire practice of the Lord's Supper today is shown to be just a ritual with no ground in Scripture.  The true Lord's Supper is a full meal that takes care of the poor and shows hospitality to strangers.  The real Lord's Supper is based in the full meal of passover, but really is much older, going back to at least the time of Abraham. #LordsSupper #CatholicMass #Communion #Sacraments #truereligion #breadandwine

    Why is New Years 8 days after Christmas

    Mark Haughwout discusses why New Years Day is eight days after Christmas.  The earliest mention of naming a Jewish boy on the day he is circumcised is in Luke chapter 1 and 2, where John the Baptist and Jesus are both named on the same day they are circumcised.  Mark also discusses Mamdani taking his oath of office on the Koran.  Read through the Bible in a year by reading 3-4 chapters a day.

    When was Jesus born? And what is Hanukah?

    Mark Haughwout discusses when Jesus was born and also the miracle of Hanukah.  Hanukah and Christmas fall at the same time of year.  Hanukah is the festival of lights and Jesus followers are the light of the world.
