My Hallmark Friends
I have been listening to this podcast for over a year and this review has been a long time coming. I listen to this podcast on my headphones while I put my kids to bed. It fills a very specific void in my life. I unfortunately do not have friends who even watch watch Hallmark movies, never mind friends who recognize their ridiculous tropes (eww, a big city! Workaholic single lady? I don’t think so!) but still actually enjoy them. Each host is relatable. Like Bran, I get very excited about Christmas feels and love watching the movies. Like Panda, I love fall movies and royal movies and often forget which ones I like soon after I see them. And like Dan, I often think some movies are too stupid to watch. I love the characters they come up with, love the CCB shade, love the irreverence. If you guys would review more Good Witch you would really make my life. Keep it coming.
My fast forward gets a lot of use.
Too many ads, too many odd voices and not much movie stuff. This podcast was so much better and funnier when it first started. Now it’s just weird.
The definition of guffaw is to laugh in a loud or boisterous way, and that is legitimately the best word I can think of to describe the sounds I make when listening to this podcast. There is no polite chuckle or girlish giggle; I literally guffaw. My family rolls their eyes and tries to ignore me, but I cannot help it. The commentary that these hosts and their guests give is ear hole gold to this Hallmark movie loving gal, and I am thrilled to have found this gem of a podcast.
