The Art of Descent: Astrology, Alchemy & Becoming (Vika Bradford)

In this episode, I sit down with my friend Vika Bradford to explore descent — into grief, rage, dissociation, identity loss, and the underworld passages that shape us. Vika shares from her lens as a karmic astrologer, weaving Pluto, the 8th and 9th houses, and mythic death-and-rebirth symbolism into a conversation about growth and transformation. I hold the dialogue through a psychological and nervous system framework, asking what it truly means to stay with what hurts rather than bypass it. Together we explore: Dissociation as protection Rage as a sacred and valid response to loss Repeating patterns and radical self-responsibility The metaphor of “mining for gold” in the underworld The movement from discipline to devotion Why self-inquiry is a lifelong unfolding This episode is being released during the potent week of the Saturn–Neptune conjunction — a moment astrologically associated with the meeting of structure and dissolution, reality and dream, discipline and surrender. Whether you relate to astrology symbolically or literally, the themes of this transit mirror what we explore here: how we dissolve old identities and build something more honest in their place. Take what resonates. Leave what doesn’t. Stay curious. Learn more: Vika Bradford Instagram Pinterest Free Guide Click to learn more about Alchemy and Rachael The Treehouse Project

    WOMEN: A guided Invocation (Advanced)

This is not a meditation for regulation. While the opening invites settling and embodied awareness, regulation is not the destination. It is the threshold. This is an invocation A calling forward. An invitation to remember the power that has always lived in your Body. Not as performance or force, but as capacity, choice, and inner authority returning. This offering was made from the embodied experience of being a Woman, for Women. And for anyone who feels the imprint of colonial, patriarchal, capitalist conditioning woven into the nervous system. The training toward diminishment, silence, and self doubt. The forgetting of one’s own authority. This is a gentle but uncompromising nudge toward reclamation. Not through force. Not through bypass. But through remembrance. This practice was created during a Mars Cazimi, a moment of purification and clarity of will. The timing informed the work, but the power is yours. Please note this is an advanced practice. It may evoke intensity or a sense of being stirred awake and is best received when you feel resourced and grounded. You are not broken. You are not late. You are not asking for too much. Welcome home to yourself. It is time. Listening notes: Wear Headphones. Light a candle. Choose a quiet, cozy space where you won’t be interrupted. Inside Psychedelic Somatic Therapy: Healing Trauma at the Root (Saj Razvi)

For this New Moon I am re-releasing one of my favourite episodes — an important conversation with Saj Razvi on psychedelic somatic healing and the power of relational repair. In this episode, Saj and I explore Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP), a somatic trauma modality that works in psychedelic states to address relational wounding and autonomic self-correction. We discuss how PSIP gently returns people to early developmental layers where attachment ruptures first formed, allowing core self and lost parts to re-emerge. We speak about why secure attachment is one of the greatest stabilizing resources, the pathways and responsibilities within transpersonal psychedelic therapy, and the ethical importance of preparation, relational support, and tending negative transference. Saj Razvi is the Founder and Director of Education at the Psychedelic Somatic Institute and a pioneer of PSIP. He served as a clinical researcher in the MAPS Phase 2 MDMA trial, has taught PTSD studies at the University of Denver and the University of Copenhagen, and now trains clinicians internationally in using legal medicines like cannabis and ketamine for relational and autonomic trauma healing Resources Referenced in the Show Saj's Ketamine Session White Paper Solution Session Is PSIP Right for you Find a PSIP Clinician Click to learn more about Alchemy and Rachael The Treehouse Project
