Zeroing in on the dedication page, writers, musicians, and scientists share stories about the people who motivate and inspire their work, plus audience members take the stage to make a dedication to a person who got them where they are today.
An Ongoing Friendship
It's the inaugural episode of Dedicate It. Former poet laureate Robert Pinsky talks friendship among poets, an explanation of America, and his new collection 'In the Foundling Hospital'. We dive into the surprising dedication to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's 'The Little Prince'. And audience members Allyson Paone and Kate Torgovnick take the stage to make heartfelt and heartwarming dedications.
Dedicate it is a live show and podcast that zeroes in on the dedication page. We host intimate conversations with writers, musicians, artists, and scientists – the people we admire most about the people they admire most.
New perspective on something that's often overlooked
This podcast hits the right balance between intelligence and fun. You'll learn something, enjoy yourself and think about appreciating others in your life
So so good
I've definitley been guilty of skipping the dedication page in the past, but this show has turned it into one of the first places I look when I pick up a new book. I loved this podcast's format: the digging into particularly interesting dedications, the conversations, the live, off-the-cuff proclamations of graditude. I can't wait for the next episode to come out!
Amazing New Podcast
I was at the first live recordings and had a great time. This is a tremendously good idea for a podcast, and I’m excited to see where it goes! :)
