Take what you can use and leave the rest
While I find a lot of the discussions on this podcast valuable, sometimes the content borders on spiritual bypassing/gaslighting. I want to emphasize to anyone listening who may be struggling with healing trauma that, wherever you are in relationship to your trauma, it's ok. You don't have to be grateful for your trauma to heal it. Healing is non-linear, and if you're not ready to let go of your fear or anger, that's not a personal failing.
This podcast also lacks diversity in it's guests, and because of this, there's often a failure to emphasize that love is an action as much as it is a state of mind. While I do believe it's important to act from a place of love and compassion, there's collective trauma happening right now that needs to be addressed. This podcast puts the cart before the horse in regards to addressing and stopping that ongoing trauma.
