    Do You Know The Way?

    Do you know the direction your life is going? Do you know your destination? Just like your maps app can get you to a destination is the same way God's Word can get you to life. You listen to your phones voice to get somewhere. Why wouldn't you listen to God's voice on what to do next? He wants to get you more Christlike.

    Does It Really Matter?

    There are things in your life that matter a great deal. Others don't matter at all. Do you know what those things are in your life? Paul said that the greatest thing in life was knowing Jesus. He would count everything in his life a loss if that meant he could know Jesus better. Check out Philippians 3:7-14. If it doesn't matter, it's wasting your time. If it does matter, value it and make it a priority.

    Terms And Definitions Apply

    Have you noticed that there are different terms for things? I think it's an attempt to change what's true and make it seem more inclusive and less harsh on the ear. But just because it's altered doesn't change the reality of it. I say we hold to what's true and call things what they are. Even if it might ruffle a few feathers.

    Jesus And ...

    If you mix water and orange juice, you don't have pure orange juice. It's diluted and weak. If you mix Jesus and something else, you have a pitiful Jesus who seems to need help. He is everything the Bible says he is. He is worthy of our obedience and trust. He stands alone as the only one in history that has done the things he did and has resurrected from the dead.

    Yes, it's the same last name. IT'S MY PARENTS! They've got the jokes this time and boy do they have a story that I hadn't even heard yet.
