Deep Waters is about understanding and how to apply what's in the Bible. We need the absolute revelation, not interpretation, of God's written voice. Bible and ministry ignorance is one of the greatest plagues we are facing today, (also known as the Laodicean Church age) and I have the most earnest desire to eradicate this plague from our earthly church today. If you want entry level Bible teaching, or no teaching at all then you can attend your local church, but if you want to get to know God, yes really get to know Him intimately then stay tuned into this podcast and get ready to cast off your arm floaties. No, not all churches are missing it, but in saying this, I challenge you to find one that operates as them ol' preacher boys did in the book of Acts. This ministry isn't trying to get the attention of our Lord Jesus by being the biggest most glamorous, most relevant for today's culture church the heavenly host has ever cast their eyes upon. We are after the one's that know that they know, that they know, there has to be more than what most churches are chatting about in these times. And where, by God, is the power that is to accompany the preachers preach? Christian peeps it is time to pluck our Christian heads out of the sands of inefficiencies and ineffectiveness and join our Lord in the battle on the surface of this earth. The Podcast Preacher challenges you to get lit for God and to listen to these messages and remain the same as you are when you first tuned in. This will be impossible if you are bent on your God obligated Christian activities and calling. Video's and books will come in there time but for now I guarantee you will not remain as you are if you engage in these messages. The Podcast Preacher is called, appointed, and anointed to help you grow. I have been given the gift of Teacher and it is flowing in and pouring out to all who can hear and see what the Lord is doing these days.  A final word to the wise: you will hear things that you will not hear in more than 95% of today’s churches, and that is fine, that is why God is always using the uncommon man to move His church forward.     Send us Fan Mail This message is going to be a parable about your Christian life representing an elevator. Why because this image popped into my head and made perfect sense. It is also helpful in showing you that Jesus Himself did this vey thing when sharing stories with those of His day. Let’s begin by imagining the number of years that you might live, and so for this illustration we will use the number 75 yrs. Therefore, our building is a 75-story building with each floor representing one year of your life.  When you are first born you begin at the first story of your building. At each floor the elevator goes up, it represents one year of your life. And every time you go up from one floor to another, let’s say on your birthday, it is implied that you are more spiritually and naturally mature. It is my believe that if you are not authentically born again your natural maturity is massively hindered and this will be evident because your life will, like a baby, be all about yourself. And well, your spiritual maturity will be near non-existent, even if you are a part of some other spiritual growth false religion and by the way all of them are false leading to a hell-bent sent run by none other than satan himself. This is why we need to trust God because you can never trust the father of lies to tell the truth (John 14:6 and 8:44). I say this because some people do mature somewhat without God, for selfish reasons like getting a promotion, but no doubt their appetite to satisfy themselves. Their wants, own desires, and selfishly supposed needs, will eventually, and at times, rear its ugly head. My example is my own life before I became authentically born-again. In my own thoughts and sin I justified by anti-God beliefs and behaviors by redefining salvation and the bible of which I knew nothing about. I simply believed with a wide satisfied smile on my face that I was a good person and a good God would be contented when He looked upon my life in His examination, no doubt thinking as I thought while living a very selfish life that I indeed was a good person.  https://appliedstrengthsministry.org/

    Send us Fan Mail We are going to open up with the foundational, in part, scripture in which supports all of the questions I ask within this message: Luke 10:38-42 - 38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” 41 And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Why was Mary in a good part better position than Martha even though Jesus was in the house and available to both of them? I mean how did being at the feet of Jesus change Mary? What did it reveal in Martha? What made her ignore serving Him and chose to just listen to Him? What were they talking about? What did Jesus say to her? What would she have missed if she were in the kitchen? What didn’t Martha see in the moment, that Mary saw? We may not know these specific details, but something Jesus said altered Mary’s life I will show you later in this message.  Is this you? Are you so busy with the things of life that, even though Jesus lives in you along with the Father and the Holy Spirit, you are busy in the kitchen of life? What are you missing being in the kitchen rather than being in at the feet of Jesus?  And OK so but let’s look at how Jesus the Father, and the Holy Spirit show up for dinner in our days: The Holy Spirit in Us ·        1 Corinthians 6:19: Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you. o   1 Corinthians 6:19 - 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? ·        Romans 8:11: God raises us through His Spirit who lives inside us. o   Romans 8:11 - 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. ·        John 14:16-17: Jesus promises that the Spirit of truth lives with you and will be in you.  o   John 14:16-17 - 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. https://appliedstrengthsministry.org/

So, in the book of Isaiah, it states Lucifers fall resulted in him becoming renamed as satan because he was now considered a fallen angel. He still has the propensity to be worshipped as a god and his fall didn’t not dimmish his appetite to be worshipped as a god. His strategy was simple, cause Eve to sin against God by questioning Gods integrity. He possibly understood that if he could introduce sin into the world and cause those made in the image of God to sin, that he would be the god of this world; not in heaven as he supposed but in this world.  Is 14:13 - For you have said in your heart:  ‘I will ascend into heaven,  I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;  I will also sit on the mount of the congregation  On the farthest sides of the north; In Luke, it shows us that satan knew who he was as it related to earth after sin had entered through him, and then through Eve: Luke 4:5-7 - 5 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. 7 Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” By looking at Timothy we can see more evidence of satan’s plan and its intended results as satan knew how to take authority of the planet, a planet that we were to take dominion of: 1 Timothy 2:14 - 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. That woman was Eve. Can you believe that satan knew the plans of God which was to give mankind authority over everything on the earth? God states His plan to make man in His image to rule over the fish, birds, livestock, and all the earth. Genesis 1:26 - 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God blesses them and commands them to multiply, fill the earth, subdue it, and have dominion over living creatures.     Offense And Its Purpose

    Send us Fan Mail There are a total of 391 could be construed offensive scriptures just in the book of Matthew depending on who you are. Whether you think there is more or less is entirely up to you, but rest assured the gospel is going to be offensive depending on who you are, meaning that if you are human it will be offensive but if you are an alien then perhaps not. All kidding aside offense is caused when reading your bible when the word of God hits some aspect of flesh or spiritual immaturity that exists in your life. Of course to every non-believer, make-believer, or fake-believer it will be loaded with offense because they are serving a devil who hates the word of God. The point of the gospel is to challenge you and to help you to grow, both of which do not happen so easily in the natural because of our natural inclinations. Hopefully by the time of the closing of this message you will see how necessary and how beneficial offense can be to our lives. If you embrace it you will grow in the Lord, grow in loving others, in serving others, become more humble, understand more about the value of your salvation, and on and on. There is no down side except for your improper response when it comes a knockin' at your door and a knockin' it will come. Gal 5:11 - 11 And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased. 1 Cor 1:18, 23 - 18 For the message of the cross is foolishness (that is offensive) to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. Notice it doesn’t say it isn’t offensive to us who are being saved. It is our response to the gospel of offense that determines our place in salvation. v.23 - 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, So before we move on I want to share how the words “stumbling block” and “foolishness” are defined in relationship to the word offense.     The End Of Time

    Send us Fan Mail OK This is funny in that a full message that goes for about one hour. There's about 22 pages. This message was already at 15 pages before I worked on the messaging portion. All it contained was the opening and closing prayer along with the scriptures that I will be referencing. It will be a miracle if I can keep this one under an hour-pray for me lol I will be using Matthew chapter 24:3 thru chapter 25:46 to talk about the questions that the disciples asked Jesus nearly 2000 yrs ago. One of the questions is “tell us when these things will be and what will be the sign of your coming and the end of the age.” We will be listening to Mark, Luke, and John’s end time Q&A as well. These are not the only guys that chitty chatted about the end times but this message can only include a small sample which will be suitable to make the point. It is not my intention to provide explanations regarding every point or bit of revelation, I have covered many of those topics in other messages. My goal is to provide a library type setting and sitting where you can listen to the scriptures and make up your own mind in the end. Not like hey make up your mind at the end but after you have heard this message. Ha… I say this because that is what we do anyway whether what we hear is truth or not right? An example is this. We have all heard to save up for a rainy day and yet so few of us make up our minds to do so. I have said this before but excuses come from a child and should not remain apart of our life’s narrative as we grow up. We were created to solve problems and to seek help from a perfect God in order to do so. When we get results outside of these parameters, well, we either make excuses for our failure to listen to God, or we learn from them, allowing them to humble us and to remind us that God is our ever present help in our time of need (Ps 46:1). We begin with Matthew’s end time story. I will interject on just some of what I think stands out or is pertinent to the understanding of end times:           Matt 24:3–25:46 - The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age 3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be?     Flying Mountains

    Send us Fan Mail Now this is just but a thought and I am speaking on it because maybe the point isn’t so much about a flying mountain as it is about staying open to the many, many, many options that God has for explaining what He means in His word.  And so but I will present the case and point scripture without telling you what I saw or thought in my reading of it until later. I am including it because it is the trigger scripture for the entire message: So speaking of His word let’s get it: Matthew 17:14-21 - 14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” 17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” My thought specifically in this verse is that a mountain can represent a powerful demon. If not why would Jesus depart from talking about a demon and then talking about a mountain and then talking about prayer and fasting.  Matthew 12:45 - 45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.” Seven More Spirits: The spirit then goes out and brings seven other spirits that are more wicked than itself to live inside the person. The following are instructions for us to engage the demonic ·  Mark 16:17: "And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons..." – Jesus states that driving out evil spirits is a sign following believers.  ·  Matthew 10:1: Jesus gave His twelve disciples "authority over impure spirits to drive them out" and heal every disease.  ·  Luke 10:17: The seventy-two followers returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!"  ·  Mark 9:29: Jesus said, "This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayer."  ·  Acts 16:18: Paul commanded a spirit to leave a person, saying, "In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!"     Spiritual Warfare Is Increasing And You Should Be Feeling, Seeing, and Standing Against It

    Send us Fan Mail This is a scripture heavy message. We end time saints are front line Christians living in a time that no other generation has experienced. What I mean is that we are experiencing end time chaos like no other time in history. This also is not a shame message but one to help us all to be on point in these very days. Imagine what wonderful opportunities we will have in our Christian lives in days such as ours.   Jesus had access to the battlefield as he did the following in the totality of His ministry: John 5:19 - 19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. John 12:49-50 - 49 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. 50 And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.” So, if we also make this practice a part of our relationship with God then the following will be possible: John 14:12 - 12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. Eph 4:11-16 - 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Matt 10:8 - 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
