    Ep. 12 of Getting DeepAF: Our Journey with Alcohol- How to Step into a Better Version of Yourself

    In this episode, we share our personal journeys with alcohol. We reflect on how drinking once played a major role in our social lives and identities, driven by peer pressure and the desire for social acceptance. Over time, we both experienced negative effects such as fatigue, anxiety, and feeling stuck, which led us to reconsider our habits. Our decision to cut back stemmed from a desire for better health, improved mental clarity, and more meaningful connections. We openly discuss the challenges we faced by stepping away from alcohol for a period of time, including the struggle to redefine fun without drinking. No one talks about this enough... Rather than being a lecture, we invite you to listen to our personal stories as we reflect on our own relationship with alcohol. We just want those who may be experiencing these thoughts and feelings to know that they are not alone. It took us a lot of time to get to where we are now by understanding happiness truly comes from aligning with what genuinely nourishes your mind, body, and soul.  Never hesitate to reach out to us.
