This week on DEI Today, I am joined by Professor Larry Wellborn to discuss how diversity and inclusion are addressed in the Bible. Dr. Wellborn provides a foundation of how diversity, equity, and inclusion are presented in early Christianity and Roman History, and how specific passages within the Bible encourage a diverse and inclusive point of view.
Dr. Wellborn dives into specific passages in Galatians, Romans, and 1 Corinthians provides insight into the originally intended context. He additionally states that to move forward with diversity and inclusion, it is absolutely necessary to take the text in the Bible seriously.
