Delicious Dignity

Dilshad

Delicious Dignity is a women’s spirituality podcast for spiritually intelligent, high-functioning women who are ready for life to match who they’ve become. It's for those of us who've outgrown all the seeking & ready to live what we know. The show explores life after spiritual awakening through embodied spirituality for women, intuitive living, & self-respect. We’re past organizing our lives around victim or trauma states. We may return there when needed, with care and honesty, but we don’t stay. This is a space devoted to resilience, integration, and living from a steadier center. This is a space where the divine feminine becomes the natural feminine.  The emphasis is on integration, not transcendence. Embodiment, not endless insight. What we want is for it to hit the place of divinity within... and feel it...really feel it right down to our bones...and then have it radiate out in all areas of our life. Every episode offers practical guidance, rituals, and reflections to integrate spiritual insight into real life. We move from just knowing to living with clarity, stability, and dignity - blending spirituality with structure, so heaven on earth becomes something we practice daily. Recurring series includes episodes on the Feminine, Intuition Training, Rose Mysteries, Journaling Rituals, & Body Wisdom Rituals. Hosted by intuitive coach Dilshad Mehta, with over a decade of experience, this show reminds us that a strong sense of dignity is our greatest strength and our most powerful immune system against life’s challenges.  📖 Podcast Ritual Accompaniment - https://www.dilshadmehta.com/delicious-dignity-podcast 🔔 New sessions every Sunday morning. Considering Moving Back to India After 20 Years in the US - A Personal Reckoning

Today I share the unexpected reckoning that emerged after being laid off from a tech career I’d held for years — a moment that gently unraveled my relationship to work, identity, feminism, and home. What began as job loss became something more paradoxical: a growing pull toward India, the very place I once worked so hard to escape. Drawing from philosophy, lived experience, and the tension between the personal and the political, I sit with what it means to consider moving back to India after 20 years in the US — without certainty, without resolution, and without forcing clarity. This episode is also for anyone considering moving back to their home country after years abroad — navigating reverse migration, expat return, and the strange identity shifts that come with it.  UPDATE: My friend Brian listened to this episode and told me about the FIRE Movement (Financial Independence, Retire Early). I've never heard of it but clearly its what I've been doing. I think its worth checking out! Here’s what I explore in this episode: Philosophical reflections on paradox, reckoning, homecoming, and why the personal is always politicalFear, safety, feminism, and the embodied realities of considering life in India as a womanThe weight that comes from moral proximity or the witness burden. Living without insulation (or gentrification), where the suffering isn’t abstract anymore. It’s right in front of you "(A transplant is) .....a person who moves to a place, and then they try to make that place just like the place they left" - Yellowstone, Kaycee Dutton defines a transplant to his son Tate This episode is part of the In the Mystery series, where I speak from the messy middle of becoming, trusting intuition, spiritual discernment, and dignity when the path forward doesn’t yet make sense. 2. When You Can’t Believe in Your Own Dreams – A Practice That Makes Goals Possible

When You Can’t Believe in Your Own Dreams – A Practice That Makes Goals Possible

There’s a uniquely disorienting place we can find ourselves in when we have real goals and big dreams, yet can’t honestly say we believe in them. It can feel almost crazy-making — wanting something, planning for it, and still feeling internally unconvinced it’s possible. And yet, this experience is far more common than we’re taught to believe, especially during moments of transition when we’re seeking real change or a quantum leap forward in our lives. This episode is for anyone who wants to keep moving forward with integrity when optimism feels unavailable (especially around New Year goals and intentions), and who is ready to work at the level where change actually happens — the subconscious. Instead of forcing motivation or positive thinking, this session explores dignity-based subconscious programming as a way to lower resistance, restore inner coherence, and make goals possible without pressure, self-betrayal, or false certainty. Here’s what I explore: Nine real reasons you may no longer believe in your own dreams — and why none of them mean you’re failingA two-minutes-for-ten-days dignity practice (20 minutes total) that’s been making my goals possibleHow this practice works at the subconscious level to reduce resistance and restore forward movementFour ways to work with this practice more deeply once the initial ten days are complete📖 Ritual Accompaniment For This Episode Join the Weekly Delicious Dignity Missives - every week receive exclusive, bite-sized, actionable intuitive insights straight to your inbox. 📲🙋🏽‍♀️ Questions?
