Deliver Us from Disney

I just stumbled upon this podcast and i’ve looked everywhere for recent episodes and I hope it didn’t end after two episodes. I love this so much and I have literally the same mom like down to looking down from heaven thing and I once tried to record the harry potter series and she deleted it, because it had magic in it. I would loveee to hear more!

I adore this podcast so much! The concept is very creative and so fun to explore.

From the moment I saw the podcast logo to just reading the premise of the show, I felt like I was in for something special with DUFD. And I’m so happy to report that it absolutely is something special. I love the chemistry and the friendship between hosts Whitney & Ani. They’re instantly endearing and their comedy & candor really come through to make the conversations rich and inviting. And as a movie fan, I just love that the range of Disney films being covered in the show is wide and varied. It’s such a fun show, and I love how it expands into other topics via Ani’s background or music or whatever other areas of interest that feel right for every episode. Can’t recommend it enough!

Ani and Whitney accomplish so much here: a reexploration of the stories that shaped our childhood, discussing them with a contemporary adult lens, analyzing our culture’s reaction to them, the church’s reaction to them, breaking down the destruction of fanatacism, the futility of censorship — I can go on. And it’s all done with sweetness and humor and love and kinship. All in all, makes for a fun ride. A fantastic listen! Hail Satan!🤘🏼🔥🎸🔥🤘🏼
