    Episode 19: Colton Waltner

    Episode 19: Colton Waltner

Welcome to the final episode of Season 1 of the DEUCE Racing podcast! A big thank you to all for listening over this past year. We've got one hell of a community that is vulnerably pursuing their best life, and this final episode with Colton Waltner is certainly one hell of a guest to finish with.

From pro baseball player to current DEUCE Coach and Staff member, Colton Waltner has never shied away from the hard work it takes, day in and day out, to forge the ordinary into the extraordinary. Colton lives life with his hands in the dirt, and after listening to this episode, you'll want to, too.

    Episode 18: Demar Traylor

    Episode 17: Niki Gruttadauria

    Episode 17: Niki Gruttadauria

Niki G is an integral part of the DEUCE Team and guess what? She doesn't actually train at DEUCE!

"My status is straight kicking it," she says with a smile.

Though you may not have met Niki in the yard before, if you've ever looked at our website, viewed a DEUCE asset, engaged with Agency Standard or even participated in our Lift | Run | Hang event this past summer, you're surely already familiar with her. That's because Niki is our digital production wizard (seriously, to describe what she does as anything less than wizardry would be an understatement). And she has a remarkable self-taught story about how she came to work in design.

Anyone who listens to this episode is sure to find inspiration to start new projects without succumbing to paralysis by analysis, to exercise more creativity, and to seek more engagement with those who you share collaborative chemistry with.

She offers such infectious encouragement to bring ideas to life. "Get what you need out there, and then you can always adjust."

    Episode 16: Tim Brown

    Episode 16: Tim Brown

“I think when you’re in a metropolis like this – a sprawl, so many people – it’s easy to get lost and it’s easy to forget who you are, and it’s easy to feel insignificant. And I felt like DEUCE became this little flower that pops up on the sidewalk between the cracks. Where it felt like, okay, I belong here. This is my little corner of the world, of LA, of Venice.”

Tim Brown, ladies and gentleman. One of the original members of DEUCE Gym, it is with great excitement that I'd like to share with you the latest episode of the DEUCE Racing Podcast, featuring Tim!

Tim is the type of person that makes the yard more comfortable, just by being in it. And, much like with his incredibly impressive, decorated career in journalism, after listening to this episode, you'll better understand and appreciate how the charm that surrounds Tim wherever he is is no coincidence. Not only that, but it's accessible to you too..

Warmly inviting you to listen to Episode 16 with this one-of-a-kind man, myth, and legend.

    Episode 15: TJ Stafford

    Episode 15: TJ Stafford

TJ Stafford makes music. Pretty incredible music, mind you. Fascinated by the creative process, and what we can distill from experts in their craft, like TJ, who are committed to a lifetime of continual production, I asked him about his process for creating new songs. “Does it come to you?”

His reply spoke volumes: “If I start.”

In this latest episode of the DEUCE Racing Podcast, TJ brilliantly speaks about the entire spectrum – light and dark included – of life as an artist, as well as the importance of simply staying in motion – with whatever it is you do in life.

Oh, and by the way(!)… Since releasing this podcast, TJ’s latest album, “The Death of Zossima”, has made the Official Ballot for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song (“THE CURE”), Best New Artist, and Best Engineered Album for this year’s Grammy Awards by The Recording Academy!

Go on, get those headphones out and sit back for a real treat of an episode. As always, inviting you to like, subscribe, and share with friends and family!

Captain Planet is a woman, and her name is Sarah Williams.

Sarah, our newest Breath & Exposure coach, is an incredible individual who has completed some extraordinary adventures, including...

Hiked the entire John Muir Trail, a 220 mile solo hike from Yosemite to Mt. Whitney.
Gone 6 days with no food or light in an underground cave for a reality show.
Trekked across the entire country of New Zealand, north to south, a 5 month journey, with just a small backpack.
