DEVIL'S TEETH

Beginning in Summer 1972, several young New Jersey women vanish while hitchhiking. All are later found dead in the woods miles away from home - and some of their bodies are allegedly found surrounded by strange and occult objects. Some locals fear a serial killer is on the loose. Others say a Satanic cult is to blame. Whispers of a police cover-up permeate the air. What really happened? Join author and Weird NJ correspondent Jesse P. Pollack as he chronicles a strange series of cold cases that still haunt the Garden State to this very day.

Interesting story, terrible production
10/20/2022
The authors should really consider reproducing this to address the audio issues. I am grinding my way through it. Phone interviews sound like they were recorded off a first generation iPhone on speaker from across an empty room with a cheap mic. Some are simply indecipherable. Generally you can gather what was said by the witness from the follow up but it greatly reduces the enjoyment of an otherwise riveting story.
I tried

I wanted to listen to this podcast, but I can’t get past the poor sound quality of the recorded calls. It makes my head hurt, which is a bummer because the story sounds like it would’ve been interesting.
Audio is Terrible
06/05/2023
I had to stop because the phone interviews were almost completely inaudible
Audio/Narration
02/11/2023
I’m sorry but this might be the first podcast I do not finish. The interviews are very grating to the ears and the narration is robotic. Feels like someone is being forced to read for a class. The story becomes too difficult to follow because of how unpleasant the audio production is.
